This was a brilliant tour from start to finish. We watched an introductionary film first which was great to see. We then had a guided tour around the distillery. It was great to see how the whiskey is made. We finished off with a whiskey tasting and a lovely jameson/ginger/lime. We had our dinner in the resturant and it was... More

We had a great tour behind the scenes, it took officialy 2h15min but it was much longer since we had the time and the tourguide took the time. We were only with 2 so it was great. Brian did a wonderful job, his hart is in it, explained about the process of whiskey, tour around the buildings, tasting whiskey, how... More

Not very expensive, takes about an hour. You get a free drink at the end. We enjoyed our tour guide and the whole experience. We were jus sad we couldn't buy bottles/gifts and ship to the USA. Dang liquer laws! Grrrr

Really cool historic place. See the actual old Whiskey making process. There is a short film then you take a walking tour through the historic areas. It was a beautiful fall day and some of the best fall foliage on these grounds. At the end you have a whiskey tasting. We learned a lot.

Totally taken over and corporatised for the North American market. Though informative I felt I was being given a sales pitch the whole time. Needs more humility. Comparison to the islay tours and their whiskey is interesting. Different ends of the commercial spectrum.

This tour was really cool and had another great guide Sarah. You are taken around the grounds of the old distillery where the process of creating Jameson is explained in great detail. The differences in making different spirits is explained as well.

Great tour!. Starts with an informative video. The walk through and around all the old buildings is fascinating. We had a great tour guide. Finish up in the tasting room comparing whiskys. You can even pull your own cask strength bottle to take home! Great little cafe as well. Well worth the detour.

Our guide was knowledgeable, funny, and kept the tour filled with interesting facts. The tour takes place in several buildings, so you'd have to dress appropriately, especially if the weather is bad. We got to hear about the basics of the distilling process, and the differences between the different types of whiskey (with some bias, of course). The best part... More

We visited on 20 July and started with whiskey cocktails before the tour. They were excellent. Darragh was our Guide for the tour and he was excellent. He was informative, witty and made our tour very enjoyable. We then had our tastings which were fine and the glass of Jameson's with lime and ginger ale was really enjoyable. Finally had... More
