Loved visiting the donkey sanctuary and the donkeys are so well looked after. Bring a packed lunch and enjoy the surroundings. I had previously done courses with them.

Well worth the visit. No admission fee.... but everything purchased in shop goes towards the sanctuary. Excellent grounds.....tidy and well kept.

It's a cute little place with a nice walk around the fields. The Donkeys are cute. Some of them want to be petted and others don't. We were there about 45 minutes, you could bring a picnic if you wanted to stay longer. Not much...More

Hi, it's 29km if you go through Mallow and turn left for Liscarroll at the Hospital. When you come into Liscarroll turn right and it's about 400 from the village centre.

I'm not sure who this "they" is that you speak of but having visited the sanctuary on several occasions I can assure you that visitors would not be allowed to wander around after it closes at night. People might try hurt the... More

The sanctuary is only just outside Liscarroll village, walkable distance from the village. No public transport directly to Liscarroll as far as I know. If your accommodation is nearby a taxi would be an option. Your hotel... More
