Beautiful grounds with a great children's playground. Avoca has good coffee and nibbles for mammy and daddy too. Massive grounds for a run or picnic etc. Plenty of free parking. All you need is the weather.

A walk around Malahide castle is good for the soul. Avoca is present for a coffee or play golf, tennis or football , lots of space for a run on the weekend, highly recommend the castle.

Our tour guide was excellent. Her knowledge and delivery were entertaining, and she kept the children in the group continually occupied. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the castle and the beautiful grounds.

a train northbound is the best way to get there unless more than 4 people it may be worth getting a taxi. Malahide is a nice place to spent an hour or two some nice pubs for a coffee
