In August of 2019 I was lucky enough to get on a tour last minute (back in April because someone had dropped out) and I took my mother on the tour for her birthday. This was the first time we traveled together internationally and the first time my mom had left the country in well over 2 decades. I was worried! But I shouldn't have worried at all. The dictionary defines superlative as: of the highest kind, quality, or order, surpassing all else, or others. Supreme. I define it as Dave and his tour company. As a guide, as a story teller, as a man, and as a friend, he is of the highest kind, quality, and order. Supreme. I cannot possibly encapsulate this trip, what it meant to me and my mom, the memories that it gave us or that not a single week goes by where she doesn't text me a photo from our trip. She's ready to go back!

I’m only 13, but was still able to appreciate every single bit of this trip. Dave also made it so much easier to appreciate the culture in Ireland, telling clever jokes, stories, and history. When my family looks back at our favorite trip Ireland is always 1st, in its well deserved place.

Honestly, I can't say enough about Dave and the wonderful tour he took us on. Always friendly, fun and incredibly knowledgeable, this guy will bend over backwards to accommodate all your needs. It's obvious that he takes great pride in creating a magical Irish experience for his lucky clients.

This was not our first tour with Wolfhound and it won't be our last. Dave lives up to the promise of hikes, bikes and history but he offers so much more. Because you travel in a small group, he can take you to less touristy sights that the big buses just can't get to...even if they knew they existed (eg: Michael Collins birthplace or a 5000-year-old megalithic tomb). The accommodations are quaint B&Bs or small hotels that allow you to immerse yourself in Irish culture and meet the locals. On top of that, tours with Dave don't have a rigid itinerary. At the start of each day, Dave goes through the options and then caters the adventures to the preferences he hears. No two tours are the same...which is why we keep coming back.

Dave, with Wolfhound tours sets the tone by encouraging you to ask for things you would like to do or see, because he says,"its your vacation." He came thru in every way! Each day was different...from the sights we visited, to the places we stayed in, the beautiful landscapes, and the people we met. Such a rich and full Vacation with Wolfhound tours! Would highly recommend! Sit back and let Dave show you his Ireland. You'll come back filled with more knowledge and History about Ireland than you've ever known! We loved it! Hurry... Don't wait! His trips fill up fast!
