Waterpoint is great, we (myself and two boys) really loved it. The water slide is great fun and the staff provided balls, floats etc to play with in pool. The reason I gave a 4 instead of 5 is due to condition of dressing rooms which need a really deep clean and possibly modernization. Will happily return.

In the advertising Waterpoint is described as an Aqua Park and that made me think about the water parks in Spain. In reality it is similar to pool facilities in a good hotel. There is a jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. A toddlers pool maybe 6m² with three toddler play things. The main pool is hotel sized (maybe 18m x 10m). The only thing that redeems the place is the 65m flume slide and the kids loved that. Even our 3 year olds got to go down it with us. I had considered buying a 3-day pass but am very glad I didn't after having tried it. An hour or two is enough.
Overall I would say that this place is fine for a rainy day but over-hyped and over-priced for the facilities available.

Booked the family in for a session last Friday, 30th of July 2021 - 39 euros for 2 adults & 3 kids, one of whom is a toddler. We'd booked and paid over the phone the day before. Upon arrival, we learned that the toddler pool and slide were both closed, only the main pool was open. We hadn't been informed of this at time of payment. When I requested a refund I was told it wasn't possible and that I'd have to speak to the Manager. The person working there also refused to believe that we hadn't been informed that the slide and baby pool were both closed, at time of booking, which was very frustrating & quite frankly, offensive. The person working there did at least go to the trouble of speaking on the phone with the manager at the time, the outcome of which was the offer of vouchers, but no refund. We live in Dublin, vouchers were of absolutely no use to us. As it was a bank holiday weekend, I was informed that the Manager would not be back until 2pm on the following Tuesday, and I should call then. I asked for the Manager's name, work email & tel number, but was told to email the generic email address, or call back on the regular phone line. The person working there refused to give me the manager's name. I've been trying to call all week and have yet to speak to the Manager. I'm guessing the 39 euros is gone. I have no issue with the fact that a mistake was made at point of booking, where we were not informed of the slide and toddler pool being closed, mistakes happen. Its how it was handled from that point that has been deeply frustrating. We would never have paid the best part of 40 euro for the privilege of swimming in a small pool, when we could have paid 15 euros, in the public pool in Ballina. I completely appreciate that the slide and baby pool were closed for valid, covid related reasons, and that it does mention that they are closed on the website. However, we booked over the phone and we never visited the website. The simple resolution here was to agree to the refund, and have the manager process it upon her return to work, or failing that, at least have the manager call me to discuss and explain why they felt a refund was not appropriate in this instance. Ultimately, this is as poor a customer service experience as I've had - not only were my young kids desperately disappointed, I was made to feel like I was trying to pull some sort of fast one by the person in reception! This was a clear case of the customer is always wrong, making what should be a relatively straightforward situation, unnecessarily difficult for all concerned.

Very expensive and besides a very friendly lady on reception there were no other redeeming features. The change area was filthy and the facilities miniscule for families. The entire place could do with a blast of bleach and a full paint. We will not be back.

We had a fantastic time in Waterpoint party room today. The girls were so so helpful, kind and couldn't do enough for us considering most couldn't attend understandably due to the current situation. Perfect for a small party group with lots of fun to be had with bouncy castle, slides, soft play area and climbing wall (this was a huge favourite with the kids and adults). We had lots of sad faces when time was up 😂🙈 Food package was a brilliant addition. We will definitely book this venue again and I highly recommended this for all ages as there is something for everyone, even the adults had a blast! Thank you so much Jean and staff ❤️

We booked the pool this week. Eventually after phone line ringing out or being engaged. We were NOT told the Toddler pool was closed. So tears from the youngest! Water very cold in big pool. Only 2 showers in use due to covid so ques for those then which makes no sense. Very disappointing

Visited on Saturday August 12th at 4:30PM and encountered the worst staff member I have ever witnessed in all my years visiting here. This girl who was in her early twenties was so rude and inconsiderate! She blamed me for going down the slide at the same time as the children I was minding there which was a complete lie! She pulled myself And all the kids I was minding for it and we were not going down at the same time down the slide! She was so rude about it and gave us the dirtiest faces after even though we done nothing wrong. ABSOLUTELY Disgraceful behaviour from this girl and she looked so uninterested and picked on all the people visiting ! She gave me the smartest , cheekiest answer when i told her how dare she excuse of lying and her answers were pathetic! Avoid this place at all costs unless you want to be walking on eggshells around rude staff who give the dirtiest faces to customers and have no time whatsoever for kids having fun!! Also the pool was filthy and was cold and warm in different parts- the slide is old and grubby and the whole place is falling apart! The changing rooms are beyond bad and smell like urine! Avoid this place at all costs- I will never be returning here again and will definitely not recommend to anybody visiting Enniscrone!

Two problems first.

Checking the website times up as opening at 4pm during the week. However we landed in enniscrone at 11 am and decided to find the place so we'd know where we goin etc. anyway landed and wasn't it open. My advise is the website is not correct and so ring/check etc before you plan your day around it.

Secondly, on first day charged €20 for a family ticket (two adults, a child and an infant). However on leaving I happen to pick up a brouchure about the waterpoint where I noticed we should have been only charged €18. The €2 was refund quickly.

Good points are ample.

Both days girl at counter checked did we have euro coin for the lockers.

Plenty of free parking.

Showers/changing areas communal which is brillant for families, baby changing area available, everywhere spotless.

The enterance fee for a infant includes a huggies swim nappy which is brillant. I found the first fee of €20 brillant value so even better for €18. However I happened to get chatting to lady in the steamroom from Northern Ireland who felt this price was very expensive. There is no time limit on your stay.

There is a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi all up a little area that is only for over 16s. There is a fab little children area with slide, waterfall and a jet of water also. Main pool was very warm and only thing my husband disappointed was all pool only 1.1 metre deep. The water slide is absolutely fab and is policed very well by the lifegaurds on duty. No messing is tolerated, my husband and I using the slide together got a swift giving out to as two people are dangerous etc...fair enough as few teenagers messing etc so the lifegrauds do make place very safe for everyone.

All staff had no problem with me having new baby in carry tot at side of pool and there is a little viewing area where one can sit to watch the kids etc if needed for people not swimming or if like me toddler getting tired.

We found it so brillant we returned two days later with my teenage brother.

Fantastic outdoor play area to the back of the waterpoint that is actually free to the public. Def worth a visit or three.

Eniscrone itself, just a few points:
Check out diner "Mary-Ann's" for best fish and chip, they have a little kiddies area in the front window.
Beach is also fabulous.
There is a kids playground area located at the beach, charging €3 a child for entry to the playground and €3 extra for either mini-golf or go-kart racing. Not worth it.
