Myself and my husband visited donegal for 3 days and happened upon this little gem of a pub in bundoran on our first night. The owners were so warm and welcoming and the decor was so homely and relaxed.. the type of place you could easily spend hours relaxing and having a few drinks.. the little sitting room type room even has board games there for use and we found ourselves entertained for hours playing connect 4!! An unusual way to spend an evening in a pub but a great idea nonetheless!! The ladies are very friendly and chatty. I would strongly recommend this pub for anyone on their holidays, a real home from home sort of pub and also they kindly recommended "the blue leaf" restaurant across the road for a beautiful meal and they weren't wrong either, fantastic food there and a quaint little restaurant.. very romantic 😍

Lovely cosy pub. Very relaxed and welcoming. They do live music and plenty of trad sessions so well worth a visit. The bar lady was very chatty and had plenty of ideas for things to do and see in the area and beyond. Glad we visited

Honestly the best pub in bundoran. If you want a great night this is the place to go the karaoke and disco by Cyril is just brilliant your feet will be sore dancing. Not to mention the staff are just amazing so friendly and always make you feel so welcome. If your in bundoran you must visit you won't be disappointed can't wait for my next visit.

Before our trip to Bundoran we checked reviews on places we wanted to see. After visiting this place I’m fully convinced the people who gave good reviews on this place were probably still drunk when they done so. On entry you will be greeted by the smell of a mixture or stale alcohol and a dirty mop. The walls could do with a lick of paint to say the least as the damp stains are something of an eyesore. The stools at the bar had been wiped with a sticky cloth as had the bar itself. We ordered a drink and I ended up drinking from the bottle as the glass was filthy and the Bar tenders nails were the same. He had tracksuit bottoms and trainers on which fit perfectly in with the clientele of the establishment. There were children running wild while their parents drank away and smoked “funny fags” in the smoking area. Basically an all round dump that I wouldn’t step foot in again.

The best pub in Bundoran by far for it's atmosphere, friendly bar staff and great beer. The owners Colin and Fiona are fabulous hosts and make everyone very welcome. Locals are friendly and even offer their seats to elderly folk as they did for my 80 year old uncle. All big sports televised including horse racing and live music at weekends. Overall a true wee friendly Irish pub.

Myself and my family were in bundoran last weekend and decided to pop into George's bar for a quiet drink!! Well that was a mistake
The two piece band had started and were in full swing and they had everyone from all ages tapping their feet and off course all thoughts of our quiet drink went out the window as we very quickly found our feet tapping alongside everyone else.. the bar staff were kept on their toes but we were never left waiting and both had a smile on their face all night.. when my drink got tossed the barmaid franno (I may be wrong with the name) quickly cleaned it up and replaced it immediately.. in summary it is a great wee bar with a fantastic atmosphere and if in bundoran you should check it out!!!
The band planxty folk are brilliant and would highly reccomend them also

Was in this pub a few weeks ago with a group for my sisters hen party when we arrived it was a bit on the quiet side but as we had already been asked to leave 2 others establishments due to being "too loud" we decided to stick it out and how glad I am that we did!! We met Fiona the bar owner who was working with her sister Frances and I have to say these girls ensured that we all but especially our hen enjoyed her night!! The karaoke started at about 10:30 and the selection of songs he has is phenomenal he also plays disco songs in between to keep you entertained!! He played the cha cha slide at which the bar staff ran to the stage and started dancing getting the whole bar up to join in!! We had such a laugh and would recommend this bar to any-one looking to go to bundoran espececially if your part of a big group!!! Fiona you should be very proud
