This pub started life as a boot seller & repairers shop & there are still remnants of old stock on the shelves. It now has an enviable reputation for the exceptional range of Irish & Scotch whiskeys that it stocks. The front bar is in the old shop, but behind is a veritable warren of little rooms, one of which... More

My friends and I popped into Dick Mack's because it appeared to be a good time as there were people spilling out of it. As it turns out, someone local was getting married the next day at the church across the street and it seemed like their entire family was in that bar. It was nice to pop into a... More

You have to go to Dick Mack's, simply because of their reputation and history. I had a quick Guinness but didn't stay because it was literally standing-room-only, mostly with men (if I were younger, that would have been a great thing, haha). And it's noisy! Lots of craic, maybe too much. Not my cup of tea (or Guinness), but I... More

A great little authentic Irish pub frequented by locals and tourists alike. Fantastic rustic decor, but clean and organised. Plenty of beer and whiskey choices, a couple of cute snugs at the front with beer garden and more rooms out the back. Well worth the time to enjoy a couple of pints here and enjoy conversation with the friendly locals.... More

In the afternoon, we strolled through the winding small Streets of Dingle and heard very nice music. Entering the small door of Dick Mack's pub, we were surprised by the warm atmosphere and friendly people. Nice house white and a pint of the black stuff. Also a very nice whiskey collection; including their own local one.

This is a must do! I have seen nothing like it. If you are into quirky and weird locations, this is it. Largest selection of whiskey in Ireland. Cheap pints and friendly staff. Go for a pint or a nip. No food.

Dick Mack is one of several must do Pubs in Dingle. Full of locals and tourists mingling over pints. Don't be intimidated by the small space as you enter (it was once a leather works shop), just keep going back and back and back. You can strike up a conversation with anyone about anything. Great sign out front painted on... More

Its an old traditional Pub with the best Whiskeys selection in ireland. The prices of the Whiskeys are ok - you get a lot of rare and very rare Whiskeys there. Every ebening great livemusic.

My partner and I are regular visitors to Dingle and always make sure we stop off in Dick Macks. This pub is a huge credit to Dingle town. However we were left disappointed on our last visit due to the staff being extremely unattentive. There were 4 very young staff behind the bar and did not appear to be interested... More

We stopped by here for a nightcap after dinner one night and ended up staying till they closed drinking whiskey. My wife was able to find some that she liked based on the bartenders recommendation. It has a local vibe that was cozy. All the standard beers that every other bar has in the area but an impressive whiskey selection.
