Permanently closed. The building stands and all the signs in town are still around like the ghost of a brewery past.

I stayed in Dingle last week hoping to stop in for a pint. Unfortunately the brewery is permanently closed.

This place is a small micro-brewery that is dedicated to memory of Irish polar explorer Tom Crean. The Lager named after him is refreshingly good. And the bar, done up like a maritime explorer's shack, is cozy and welcoming. There is a short self-guided tour, as...More

I must start by saying that the beer itself is fantastic, with great flavour and depth. However the tour element doesn’t meet the hype. If you’ve even read a pamphlet on how beer is made then the tour just isn’t worth while. It’s a shame,...More

This is a small brewery but well worth a visit. We did the tour and was given a very good explanation of their process. The tour ended with a pint of Creans. I found the beer very good and will be looking for it in...More

Called here, expecting a guided tour. It's a self guided tour with a free pint thrown in for Euro 7.00. Worth Euro 2.00 net, but no more. No brewing going on the day I called. The Dairy Co-Op archives were interesting.

Dropped in to Dingle Brewery as part of a short break in the Dingle Peninsula. Really worth a visit, I am fascinated by Tom Crean and his expeditions to Antarctica with Shackleton and this visit did not disappoint me. The lager is also lovely and...More

Don't believe the positive reviews, they are fictional. Home of Creaton's Lager, nothing more than a mediocre beer just outside of a town with 20 plus pubs with so many great beer choices. Creato isn't anything more than an explorer who died 80 years ago...More

Thank you Vro777 for your interesting review. Just like the Legendary Hero Tom Crean had many challenges to overcome, we shall look at your review as one that we shall endure. Just so there's no confusion, it's 'TOM CREAN', not Creaton, Creato or anything else...More

The brewery is definitely closed permanently. I don't believe the beer is being made elsewhere.

You can walk into their pub (right behind the offices) and have a sample or a pint of their beer, talk with the barkeeper, look over the exhibits, buy a souvenir, and learn mostly about Tom Crean all for free. To tour... More
