We decided to take this tour because rain was expected for the day. What better way to spend the day then in a van touring. It turned out to be much better than we expected. The sights Tim brought us to were amazing. The history...More
I learned so much from Michael as we traveled the Wild Atlantic Way. He is a wealth of knowledge and the sites he chooses to take this tour by are extraordinary. I would definitely recommend this tour!
Hands down, the best of Ireland thus far in our 8 days around the Island. Michael is an archaeologist who knows absolutely everything about the history of the land, the people, the folklore and architecture. Every stop was fascinating and his chats along the way...More
This is our first time in Ireland; the Dingle area is an otherworldly magical place deeply rooted in Ireland. Michael, in his excellent presentation, made it all come alive. All of us - including 14 and 19 year old enjoyed it. Not only did we...More

Michael has so much knowledge about the Dingle Peninsula and its ancient history. He picked me up at the b and b and was so kind as to drop me off afterwards at the horseback riding stable where I had a scheduled ride.

I tried e-mailing using an e-mail address in Rick Steves's guidebook, but I never received a reply. We just visited the Eileen Kirrary B&B at the beginning of our stay in Dingle (where the tour operates from) and booked the tour in person a day or two in advance. We went in early July last year and that worked, but maybe it was luck. You could also try calling the B&B when it gets a little closer OR go to the Dingle Peninsula tourism website. Find the B&B listing, and that has an e-mail for the B&B.
