My husband and myself booked a two hour rib boat trip and from start to finish it was just amazing. Covid guidelines were followed to the letter and our captain was a pure gent. Not only did we see Fungi but he went out of his way to take us to a spot he heard whales were spotted !! And it certainly didn’t disappoint as we had the pleasure of watching a beautiful humpback whale for at least 45 minutes. 😁 He then brought us on a cave tour and visited all the islands! He was extremely knowledgable and a great guide. Couldn’t fault this company at all & he went above and beyond. Very happy customers thank you so much.

We booked an Eco boat trip with Dingle Boat Tours. This trip included a boat tour around each of the Blasket islands as well as an hour and a half on Great Blasket itself. This entire trip was amazing. The scenery along the coast was stunning. As we travelled towards the islands we saw over 30 dolphins. The boat stopped so there was plenty of time to enjoy the display of dolphins jumping and racing along the bow waves. We stopped at Great Blasket to drop off people who had booked a different trip and continued past Beginish and Inishtooskert where we saw very inquisitive grey seals. We continued towards Inishnabro and Inishvickilane past Treaght. To our delight we were able to see the puffins who nest here. It was amazing to see them in flight, swimming and sitting in their burrows. We were lucky to be here at this time as they would be gone in another few weeks. As we passed Inishvickilane, the herd of red deer were standing on the ridge watching us watching them. On returning to Great Blasket, we landed and made our way to the beautiful beach where we swam watched by very inquisitive seals only a few metres away. There was an air of melancholy thinking of the families who had to leave such a beautiful yet harsh environment. The entire trip was amazing lasting around 5 to 5.5 hours and well worth the €55 per person.

Had a very enjoyable trip to the blasket islands with a large family of 13 people ranging from age 6 to 71. The guide on the boat was interesting and funny without being too much. The transfer from the boat to the island via a smaller boat went fine, life jackets for all. The total time of the trip was 4.5 hrs, but between boat journeys and transfers etc it left only 2 hrs on the island, we could probably have done with another hour and i think that for the money (€665) an extra hour would have been good. But we got to see the seals and swim and we were spoiled with the weather. Great day out.

Unfortunately the weather changed and our trip to the Blasket Islands had to be cancelled at short notice.

Mary in the office was super helpful and quickly re arranged a private charter for us to have a harbour, cliffs and fungie tour.

While we were disappointed not to go to the Blaskets it couldn’t be helped. Our skipper mick was really nice and brought us on a little adventure.

We loved the cliffs and fungi was happy to show up too.

We will be back, we really want to go to the Islands but were very happy with the efficiency, effort and great communication from Dingle Boat tours.

All over it was a nice experience and I was happy we got to see Fungie briefly.

My concerns was that the boat was packed. There was no way there was any social distancing going on. They informed us we need to stay one metre apart but it’s impossible when there are people sitting in front and behind of you about 6 inches away. Masks were mandatory but there were children coughing that had no masks on.

I understand the children coughing is not the company’s fault but I would’ve liked to see them let less people on to ensure social distancing and the safety of their customers.

It was also very hard to hear the guide and some of the information was irrelevant (politics etc) I would’ve preferred at least 10-15 mins of the tour to be quiet so we could enjoy the scenery.

We booked a 2 hour dolphin tour as a family of 4 with kids age 8 and 12. It was great that we were able to see dolphins on the trip. However we had been assured that the guide would provide lots of interesting commentary on the tour. We were excited to learn more about the history of the area around dingle and its marine life. The guide unfortunately only provided commentary for about 5-10% of the trip. Although he said he would be available for questions he was upstairs with the captain for most of the trip, where passengers could not go. I could hear a sporting event they were listening to upstairs. Less than halfway through the trip most of the passengers were either sleeping or looking at their phones.

Many passengers were smoking and it was impossible to get away from smelling the smoke. They were also throwing their cigarette butts in the ocean. The company should consider a no smoking policy.

We took the 1 hour harbor tour in which you sail through the inner harbor with it's pastoral shores into Dingle Bay and follow along the breathtaking cliffs with their dramatic rock formations which form the other side of those pastoral inner shores. Across the bay you see more amazing cliffs on the Kerry Peninsula. All through the tour our guide shared fascinating history associated with the area, spiced with humorous narrative detail. The experience was a revelation of fascinating beauty and history. Our trip wouldn't have been half as enjoyable without this tour. We can heartily recommend Dingle Boat Tours as a "not to be missed" Dingle experience!

This was a great trip. We had a look at the geology of the cliffs as we went out to the Blaskets, popping into the occasional sea cave, which was a bit spooky at times. We saw some grey seals but couldn't get very close to them. Then the dolphins appeared - these were common dolphins. The first pod was quite small and they weren't doing very much, but the next one was much larger, and they were busy feeding. One of them had a baby with her, its swimming perfectly synchronised. After that the Minke whale was almost an anticlimax! Really enjoyed this trip, the boat people knew their stuff, and where to find the animals.

We did the 1 hour Dingle harbour tour at 17:45. We were welcomed aboard the Lady Laura and had a wonderful time! The weather was changeable but the tour guide was fantastic - knowledgeable but also giving you time to take in the views and not bombarding us with info. We were lucky enough to see dolphins and we followed them round - it was very exciting for us all. We are a family with an 8, 6 and nearly 1 year old and we all really enjoyed it. A real highlight of our trip to the Dingle area!
