What a lovely experience! We had a good look at a variety of Irish lace, and watched how they were done, by Nora doing demonstrations. Very helpful she was in advising me with getting a project started with Irish lace included. Thank you Nora!

A small but really nice exhibition with great staff. Kenmare is full of attractions, but do set aside an hour or two to explore this lovely centre. They also give out excellent free maps and guide books.

This is a wonderful place to get an insight into the way things were. It must have been a tough life but it sure built people of character. Take your camera ---
