Alright, this is tough. I wish I could rate service, and then product. I've been coming here for many years. Every single year is the same...the owner is just not friendly. I assume it's him at least. I get that everyone has a story, a personality, but...when you own or manage a store you've got to put that happy face on. Today the gentleman owner would not give some hikers some spare plastic wrap for their sandwiches. They have been buying coffees there daily from him, and simply ran out/forgot and it was needed for their hiking. I mean, we spent $250 I'm sure just our purchase alone would cover this. I like to see helpful individuals, and based on other reviews and personal experience I know this isn't just an "off day". Every year that I've come I've tried to engage in happy conversation and am met with coldness. Why have a storefront? Or work it? The lady working today was so pleasant it was a nice change, so let her run it. The products are great though folks. Neat variety and with health in mind. I do hope the owner will make some personal changes. I won't hold my breathe since the negative reviews have been coming in, and they aren't commenting or changing. If another local competitor pops up, watch out. Service is what people truly pay for.

Beeland features many honey products, some of which use the honey from local hives up and down the Columbia/Windermere Valley. It also has a lot of local products such as meats from local ranchers and butchers. The bistro was closed for siesta when we were there, but the coffee bar served delicious iced coffee made with home-made condensed milk sweetened with honey. Yum!

We were recommended to go to Beeland by some fellow travellers we met at Kicking Horse and stopped in here on the way to Panorama. It looks unassuming from the outside but we I walked in I was greeted with a beautiful interior, smell of natural honey and other products and the really welcoming smile of Morely who was there that day. I was further delighted by the sight of a really quality coffee machine and lovely place to sit and have a coffee. We had really lovely coffee (it's hard to find) and tea and chatted to Morely.
Our fellow travellers recommended the really fabulous top quality food that Beeland stocks which is made fresh then frozen. We bought a lasagne, a venison pie and some pasta - we ate it in the following days, can't recommend it enough, it was delicious.
Morely let us try his amazing honey and it was so good we bought as many pots as we could carry back to England! I was also bought some Beeland made lip chapsticks, made from natural products. Plus there was so much more.
I loved it in Beeland, if we had a place like this near us I would go there all the time. We ended up going back there on the way home too and I bought some more stuff to take home with me.
If you like things done with care and love and enjoy amazing food and coffee and tea in delightful surrounding look no further than Beeland.

While traveling through the Kootenays with family I purchased some of Beeland's Wildflower Amber honey. It is the best honey I have had and our family has honey all the time. Ever since I have tried to find something similar with no luck. I've bought honey at all kinds of markets and brought honey home from other countries - nothing has had such a wonderful flavour. How to get this honey to Calgary? I might have to just drive out there.

We found this place by accident, looking for what we thought was an historic general store. Same place, new purpose.
This place is everything bees and honey. The best honey I've every tasted, bar none. When it's available, go for the rare, light snowberry. It comes from high on nearby Jubilee Mountain. Besides honey there are many other food products, plus candles and many other gift items. Last, there are lots of frozen and quick high quality food items. While I was there, several bicyclists came in to stock up on snacks and cool drinks.
We planned our 2nd trip to BC this year, making sure to schedule a return visit to Beeland. It's about 30 minutes from Radium Hot Springs, and is highly recommended as an easy side trip. The owner/beekeeper was at the shop both visits, this time in his whole beekeeper outfit! At both visits, I was offered several samples to taste and much personal attention and thorough answers to any question. So besides a delicious treat, you will learn something too.

A great place for foodie items and a wonderful selection of top notch BC wines. Have not been disappointed with anything purchased here.

We were visiting Radium and were told that we needed to visit the "cute little honey store." The shelves are loaded with a large variety of honey products and the coolers are full of interesting food as well (different meats, frozen pastas, meat pies). We left with an assortment of honey, bbq sauce and salsa. My only regret is that I couldn't figure out a way to get some of the delicious looking products from the coolers back to Saskatchewan with me. However, our jars of goods were meticulously wrapped and boxed for a safe journey home. We will return again one day.

Call at Beeland when we were on our Childline charity motorcycle ride through Canada. They have a lovely shop with all things bee/honey related. The jars of honey are wonderful.
We had a lovely meal which we would find hard to match. Short ribs, pork ribs, beef and salad, absolutely stunning food. The staff were great and so welcoming.
Overall it was a fantastic experience, one which we will repeat when we get the chance. We would highly recommend a visit.

We stayed in the cabins next to Beeland - ended up buying a frozen venison pie for dinner. It was a little too salty, but great overall. Very friendly, lots of local stuff for sale, including some sculptures in sandstone, carved elk & moose antlers.

This is a store that also has a coffee bar in it. The coffee is excellent and meticulously made. I'm not sure if she owns it, but it was an older lady, a retired nurse, working that day and she chatted with us for quite a while and was just so nice. The store is adorable and has lots of interesting food and body products to buy. We bought a big tub of honey and it goes on our toast every morning and is delicious!
