Located just off the main DN1A road.
Parking available outside.
Its open and free to walk around, with historical information in Romanian, and English.
Well maintained and in good condition.
There is something time honoured about the sunset “summon to prayer” with the hammering on the wooden toaca, interspersed with bell tolling, slowly at first, but relentless, building up to crescendo over maybe 10 minutes. These are real Monks, nothing for entertainment of tourists.

A peaceful, lovely place. Good signage, even though English was placed a little high for a photo. I enjoyed the pretty flowers. There is also a trout pond if you walk around. There is a small gift shop too. No pressure for donations.
