I recommend this place for a person of any age. It is easy to access and doesn't require lots of climbing. When we were visiting (late September), tickets were free but donations were welcome. It might have changed. The views are amazing. And I really liked how they translated Lithuanian poetry into the English language.

We were visiting for the first time and I would definitely recommend this place for anyone. It cost only 1 Euro per person, easily accessible once at the location, not a massive distance to cover so anyone can do it. The views are just amazing! You start with Puntukas, so a nice history lesson.

We enjoyed the treetop walk as well as the largest rock in Lithuania. It was a chilly day but still a nice outing. It’s quite a drive from Vilnius but the drive itself is part of the trip. Reminiscent of BBCs War and Peace countryside scenes you do feel a bit like you’re going back in time driving through some of the villages on the way

If you think to go to Anyksciai only for this attraction - no no no. Nothing special at all. 300m walk between the trees. You can do the same on the ground in the forest. Panorama view is only on the end of the walk, from tower, but... all panorama forest & river. Time for this attraction- 15-20 min maximum. Price is 1€ that is ok, because if need to pay more I wished to get my money back...

This looked like such a great idea and so interesting! We expected to walk on a pathway on top of the trees and sea everything around for miles. However, this walway is actually somewhere in the mid-tree area so all you see is the top of the trees as they are still a lot higher than the walkway. The patch itself is only 300 meters so not even worth the aggrevation it causes. The area around is just a mess! There is no proper car parking (well there is, for 20 cars) but the amount of visitors in ridiculous! We had to park our car 1.5 kilometer away and then walk all the way there together with hundreds of people crammed on a little street that had no walkway and was so narrow that we either had to walk in dust or in the ditch. Not to mention that because it was so narrow and had cars parked on the side, every time there was a car coming everyone had to move into the ditch nearby! We came for a breath of fresh air but instead had to breathe car fumes for ages.
Really not worth going at the momet, maybe wait until the novelty has worn off, maybe then it will be worth it.

Not THE most amazing place but nice nonetheless :) the view from the top is great and on a good day, you can chill around the place and enjoy the nature while having a picnic of the food/drinks from the few places that offer them.

We visited on Saturday around lunch time. Place was busy but there is enough space for everyone. Free car park beside it, coffee shop, tourist information, toilets. Entry fee only e1. This is unique experience and must do while visiting Anyksciai park. Puntukas- largest stone in Lithuania in same park too. Beautiful surroundings so perfect photo opportunities. Grab your camera and enjoy experience!!!

We tried to visit it on Sunday, but couldn't - visitors had to park cars along the road and to walk 1.5 kilometers to the attraction. There is no walkway, so basically, this is walking in the ditch and completely unsafe. Probably will try to visit next year, when all the issues are solved.

entry is really inexpensive, although the walk could be a little longer but the view up top is just amazing any time of year.

Is there a lift to the top of the treetop path?
Written January 10, 2024
I guess it will depend on the person at the counter who allows people to enter: the place where gratuity is suggested, but not compulsory.

Hello,
I wanted to ask a tipical question - How do I get there using public transportation?
Do I really need to go by foot from Anīkšči, Lietuva?
Thank you!

Yes, it is complex of nature, so you can reach it by car or walking. Its very nice 4 kilometers walking path from Anyksciai which goes near the river Sventoji. Enjoy it walking or take a taxi from Anyksciai, which is very cheap there.
