Tea for two (+border terrier) today at Saltash's "the place to go" Tea Rooms. All that you would expect from such a venue, nicely done. Always an interesting mix of customers, keen to chat (take your dog). Upstairs and downstairs seating, enhanced on the lower floor by a very comprehensive selection of gifts, cards, books, etc. Thanks as always to... More

What an amazing Afternoon Tea at The Bookshelf today in Celebration of The Queens 90th Birthday and Royal Ascot. My Gluten Free Option as seen was amazing and I was served a Stunning Prawn Cocktail in place of Quiche just Fabulous. A wonderfully warm welcome as always. My friends and I cannot wait for The Bookshelf's next Event so lovely... More

The Bookshop is an ideal little place for a quick coffee whilst shopping or a spot of brunch, lunch or afternoon tea and cake! Very convenient on Saltash Fore Street with a nice selection of books and greetings cards also for sale. Main cafe upstairs, but a few tables in the shop downstairs for those less able to climb stairs.... More

A Cosy friendly place to meet with friends or just to go to on your own. Don't be put off by a few tables as you enter there is plenty more room up stairs. The staff are friendly and welcoming and you get a good cup of coffee or tea if that's your preference and a good choice of teas.... More

I did eat but my children did and they eat all there food. We paid for father Christmas to come around and give our children... More

Two of my favourite things under the same roof: an independent bookshop, run by book-lovers, and a lovely little teashop on the first floor. Good tea in good china, excellent home-made scones and other light snacks, service always with a smile and often a joke or a chuckle. A lovely place to relax after a mornings shopping - and there... The Bookshelf in Saltash is a lovely little tearoom, lovely lunches are served and always a cheerful and welcoming atmosphere from the owners, browse the books and if you don't find what you are looking for Debbie or Andrew will order it for you, if you haven't tried it then give it a go, you won't be disappointed .
