Great garden centre. Plenty of choice at reasonable prices.
The Bothy restaurant is very nice with an extensive menu however there is a distinct lack of Gluten Free options. I counted, 8 gorgeous looking cakes but not one of them Gluten Free so I had to settle for a bag of Pom Bears crisps with my tea - a bit of a let-down.

No frills garden center. If you are after good quality plants and shrubs at a reasonable price this is the best around. No inflated prices just good service. They also have a good selection of aggregates and stones. Also has a decent cafe.

We've been visiting this excellent local garden centre for years and were surprised when we dropped in for a coffee to discover that it's received a complete overhaul. There are new glasshouses and a newly built cafe/restaurant. The cafe is lovely and much bigger than the old one. Scones and tea were delicious as always and the menu offers a good selection. Only drawback was the slow service at the counter. It was admittedly late lunchtime still but we were queuing out of the door. There didn't seem to be a proper system for the two pleasant girls manning things who took orders, went through to the kitchen to drop them off, came back to make drinks and then took payment at the till. They needed at least one more person helping and I think everyone would have been happier!

The nursery is usually our go to place for plants and garden merchandise and is great value and the staff helpful,
The Bothy cafe is just awful, staff totally ignore you as they are too busy answering the phone to deal with customers in the cafe queues waiting. Total lack of staff , asked for scrambled egg , NO sorry that’s a special order . Can you just break the egg yolk , I can ask but chefs busy . What happened to customer service.
We won’t be back !

we visited the café over the weekend and was very disappointed. A lot of the tables were full of dirty pots, the floor was full of pieces of food and crumbs etc. Far too many tables in the café, was cluttered. The tables were desperate to be cleared, wiped and chairs pushed back in. To be honest it just looks very messy and uninviting. We will not return.

Just went to meet a friend at the coffee shop and a light lunch. It was clean and tidy enough. Not much in the way of choice of food although the cake selection looked nice. My friend had tea and a jacket potato, I had coffee and a Cornish pasty. The cost was about £11-00, a bit much I thought. It was O.K. but no more than that.

Off the beaten track for us but worth a browse when we were in the area as they seemed to have a good range of stuff and a coffee shop

Great place for hanging baskets plus reasonably priced shrubs. Have stocked our garden with plants & trees from here.

One of my favourite garden centres. Not only does it have friendly staff and great value goods, it allows dogs in too. In summer this is a god send as leaving your dog in the car is not an option! There are lots of value plants for the season, a selection of good value pots, a specialist conifer range and a great cafe with a huge selection of teas as well as coffee and snacks. Dogs can sit outside the cafe with you but no allowed in - the cafe is a separate building from the main indoor garden centre.
