Resanable prices

No frills garden center. If you are after good quality plants and shrubs at a reasonable price this is the best around. No inflated prices just good service. They also have a good selection of aggregates and stones. Also has a decent cafe.

January, probably not the best time to visit
Jan 2020
Just went to meet a friend at the coffee shop and a light lunch. It was clean and tidy enough. Not much in the way of choice of food although the cake selection looked nice. My friend had tea and a jacket potato, I had coffee and a Cornish pasty. The cost was about £11-00, a bit much I thought. It was O.K. but no more than that.

wont be returning
Jan 2020
we visited the café over the weekend and was very disappointed. A lot of the tables were full of dirty pots, the floor was full of pieces of food and crumbs etc. Far too many tables in the café, was cluttered. The tables were desperate to be cleared, wiped and chairs pushed back in. To be honest it just looks very messy and uninviting. We will not return.

One word sums it up.. disgusting!!!!
Sep 2019 • Friends
Visited with friends for afternoon tea which cost £9.99 per person. We got sandwiches and a big hard stale scone each. There was also a swirl of squirty cream drizzled with strawberry ice cream sauce on the plate which dissolved into a runny mess. There was a bowl of crisps and a bowl of salad which mostly consisted of clumps of the middle yellow part of an iceberg lettuce (the part I would normally throw away). There was, at most, 1 tomato cut up between 4 people and a few bits of cucumber all thrown together in a soup bowl. We then had to leave the table to choose a piece of cake from the counter. The table was filthy, with food from previous diners still stuck to it. It looked like it hadn’t been wiped all day. The floor was much the same. The cutlery was filthy, again with food still stuck on! We had to ask for more cutlery which was not much better. We eventually had to leave some of the food as it really was unpalatable. 2 people in our group, including myself, spent that evening with stomach pains. I only wish I had taken photos to submit of this review. This was our first visit and will definitely be our last!!

Afternoon tea
Aug 2019
A group of us 28 in all had afternoon tea, the staff could not do enough for us, a lovely selection of freshly made sandwiches, cream cheese and cucumber ,ham, tuna, egg mayonnaise, cheese and onion. Fresh crispy salad, crisps, jam and cream scones, a few took these home, and a choice of cake from a good selection, unlimited tea and coffee, thoroughly enjoyed the outing will visit again soon, very reasonable price.
