Booked a Christmas Afternoon Tea for 4 people.
When we arrived the table was reserved and was decorated with Christmas crackers and Christmas serviettes . One platter was full of goodies, mince pies, stollen, Christmas cake, scones with jam and cream and miniature Victoria sponges.
When the main platter came there was roast Turkey and stuffing cobs and roast gammon cobs, there was also a choice of roast beef. There was also Quiche and mini sausage rolls as well as roast potatoes and pigs in blankets in separate dishes. Complimentary Prosecco and unlimited tea/ coffee.
Everything was absolutely scrumptious and very well worth the money we paid.
The staff very very friendly and attentive ensuring everything was ok.
Needless to say, we had to bring all the goodies home in a box that was provided. I know we will enjoy those later.
After Christmas we will be back to sample the normal afternoon tea.
Very much reccomend this place. A little out of town but really worth a visit.
THANKYOU. 🧑🎄🎅❄️☃️ 🎄

I visited here mid morning with my mum for coffee & cake. The coffee was good & there was a good selection of cakes. Despite the variety of cake choices we opted for a cheese & fruit scone that were fresh from the oven. These were lovely & the server was accommodating. Only down side was that it was quite cold. We had to keep our coats on despite the portable heaters being on.

We visited Olympia house when we were working in the area. There was a good selection of stock but you had to dig for it!!
The parking was also a bit difficult if there were A few vehicles in there. Unfortunately my wife didn’t like the look of of the cafe so we didn’t try it. Overall ok.

Very disappointed with our visit. I am not meaning to be rude but it was more like an indoor market. I don't think antiques came into the equation as I saw very little evidence of any. Staff were polite. The only benefit was the café and the coffee was super. Sorry to be so negatve.

This place has loads of nooks and crannies stuffed with all manner of different old bits. Great to get nostalgic over and have a browse but in reality there is not much I would choose to buy.

This place is a reasonably large junk/craft shop, there are some antiques but you have to use a broad definition of antique. The shop rents spaces to small business owners who use that space to sell their stuff. As a result there is very little order to the place.
Some sections are far better than others and there is a lot of junk to filter. I looked at one craft section of handmade clothes, I'm no professional seamstress but the quality was poor. I think there probably should be less cramming stuff in and more section of the quality of things being sold.
Having said that its worth a look round and it's the sort of place you could easily find exactly what you've been searching for. There is also a cafe and they do regular craft fairs events.

Inadequate parking. Poor hygiene in the tearoom. The staff from the sales area walk in and out of the kitchen food prep area wearing outdoor coats and shoes. No gloves worn when food handling or preparing.

Found via TA as I was in Chesterfield for a long weekend. 2 minutes,if that, from the train station (very slightly off the beaten track) & I can only describe it as a tardis of a place.Outside was not very inviting to look at,but a nice assortment of unusual salvage, bygones & garden stuff dotted around.
Was greeted by a nice lady who gave me a guide as to what was inside & left me in peace to wander around.
The variety of stuff is too much to take in at one visit & I shall have to return in the very near future,it reminded me of an old fashioned junk shop, every space & corner is filled to bursting & there's something for everyone.
Located at the rear inside the centre is a delightful little tea rooms serving freshly made hot & cold food & an extensive range of fresh homemade scones & cakes which smelled & tasted delicious.
There is also a lovely outside seating area in which to enjoy the delights of The Tea Rooms on a summers day.
I will definitely be back & with friends !
All the staff were very friendly & welcoming & nothing was too much trouble.
Can't recommend this hidden gem enough.
Have to say re: "Smells Funny" review,if it was on Monday, the lady at reception apologised to me for the bad smell as they were having problems with a blocked drain,..... These things happen !

We recently visited Derbyshire and had breakfast at Olympia House ...what a little gem ...our friend who lives near Chesterfield took us there ...it's hidden away
Our table was reserved the breakfast was lovely the plate was full the food hot and delicious...staff very friendly ..it's hidden in what I can only describe as a former house an usual layout rooms everywhere full of bric a brac ...
We had our breakfast first then spent an hour or so looking around ...there is also an outside area to sit and have coffee
So much to look at and lovely home made cakes too definitely worth a visit...the car park is small a couple of cars had to turn away its on quite a main road so you would have to look for parking near by

We have visited a few times now and have enjoyed having a look around on each occasion. The parking can be difficult at times and the outside looks like a bit of a junk yard but we’ve had some great stuff from here. It is a little cluttered inside but plenty of things to look at. I’d say it was more a second hand store than an antique store but we’ve had some fab bargains. There’s also a little cafe in the back with homemade baked goodies, which was lovely.

Hi there
Dogs are welcome inside and outside the antique centre.
We do not allow dogs within the cafe. We do have an outdoor seating area for the cafe in which dogs are welcome. You will find water bowls for the dogs on the decking.
