Stag didn't know where we were going. The swat team guys when we got there made our stag feel very welcome, Putting him in a stress position for 15 minutes making him hold a grenade and having a gun held to his head, and getting shouted at.
Everyone stayed in character the whole time, and the zombies put in alot of effort running after us for 3 hours.
Running round an abandoned building is fun, running around a building with your mates with guns is even more fun, then chuck in some zombies chasing you and some intense moments it's awesome fun.
Get split up from your team and find yourself cornered with no where to go. Scary.
It was the venue in Leicester we went to.. Make sure you upgrade your gun. And wear decent footwear
Great fun thanks again guys

Fantastic afternoon of scary fun, very well organised and safe. Different missions to complete. Well worth upgrading guns. Definitely gonna try the other venues too, can’t wait to go back.

Went with a couple of my work mates to the last event at district 26 and it was fantastic, so professional and well run. I was scared from the 2nd I got there until the end as I should be. Well worth it these guys are a fantastic team.

Here's a very honest review of a good but flawed evening with suggestions about how it can be improved:
I got together a group of 7 friends to attend the first Zombie Uprising event in Manchester. The factory location was great, but we weren't greeted with the bells and whistles of tanks and cars seen on the trailers etc. The organisation seemed scatter gun - no disclaimer forms to sign (apparently not enough) - organiser seemed angry with us not having forms - when not a single one of us had received one? The toilet had apparently been locked by someone who took the key meaning us all (including girls) had to just go 'wherever' outside. Again, it just added to the feeling it was roughly organised - also it kept taking us out the atmosphere of the game.
Once inside it picked up a bit with a briefing - nothing special tho and lacked any urgency. We eventually headed into the building for the game to begin - the atmosphere picked up and it was genuinely thrilling. For the first mission it was a lot of fun and we were all getting into it and having a laugh.
For mission 2 - each team had to find certain items. We didn't find a single video tape - in fact throughout the whole evening we never once saw one - not one - we were told they were definitely there - but saw an abundance of all the other teams collectables - from bio hazard signs to blood bags - but not a single video tape. We failed this which was disappointing for the effort and hard work we put into effectively sweeping rooms (we had two former army on our team). We were also told to kill zombies and collect their ID cards - risky in case they come back to life - we did this really well - picking them off and collecting cards. When we returned to 'base' we got told that because the vast majority of the numbers found on the cards was not on the sheet the 'man in charge' had - we'd get 5 points - this was after he initially said we'd get nothing. This was when the game started to feel a little odd and unfair - we'd not found a single tape - we completed a mission to kill zombies and collected cards for points - just because they hadn't organised the right score sheet for the evening shouldn't have meant we lost points. Things started to sour a little.
At mission three though - it went downhill. We lost our guy with the walkie talkie - we were not told what to do if we lost our team or the importance of the walkie talkie changing the game rules. Our mission was to go to 'any floor' and scour the rooms for keys - and we did - 4 of us on our own - no action - no keys - no nothing for about 40 mins. Apparently the walkie talkie had told everyone to go to 'c' floor. It could be argued this was our own fault losing the walkie talkie but it's easy to get lost in the dark and there was no contingency for this happening. We were very bored and fed up that we didn't really care that the mission was complete and another had started by the time we found people again.
It was a mixed bag - as an organiser I wanted everyone to have a great time - and whilst we had moments definitely - we all agreed there's many rough edges that need sorting out to make a fairly ok/good experience - great. Would I do it again? I'm not sure, I felt a little embarrassed that it ended on a flat note after what started to feel promising. We still had things to talk and laugh about afterwards mind.

I have no words...what an experience!
The SWAT team are Epic, absolute characters.
The whole experience from beginning to end was totally terrifying but awesome.
I laughed, screamed, cried & ran like hell..but in doing all that I totally forgot to shoot anything! 😂
Genuinely one of the best things I’ve ever done.
TITAN gets his kicks from scaring the bejesus out of helpless women!
Thanks for a great experience!

Brill - from the waiting outside the metal gates and been unsure what to expect. This is so much fun but it’s really not for the faint hearted.
The staff are fab funny, sarcastic, professional and crazy.
The setting is amazing. If you have not taken part yet then get your tickets booked

Went with group of 5 mates at 7pm (aged 30-50), venue, missions, equipment, zombies and instructors created the perfect atmosphere... advice: go in warm clothes if winter, take a decent torch, be prepared to run, completely immerse yourself in the game and you will have a mega 3hr session.... in the words of the instructors... “F@&£ing Outstanding!!!”

We went to the Birmingham one The Clinic . It’s was so much fun . The people running it were passionate and a little scary . Once you enter the game zone it is so scary . It’s dark and has lots of twists and turns . It’s a huge maze . Your armed with a gun ( upgrade cause the little ones are no good and as a women hard to reload ) and your sent on missions to retrieve items . Wear older clothes and good shoes . There is a lot of running . The zombies are scary and quick . Highlights . We won go team alpha , it was fun and scary and value for money . Downside : none really apart from people taking it a little to seriously or messing around and shooting you . Safety is paramount and it’s there for your health . I was pushed to the ground on one occasion and missed out the last missions and let the men carry on . It’s a testimony to the game and to it team but some players do get carried away and don’t listen to instructions. On the whole a great night . Side note :DO NOT LISTEN WHEN THEY SAY NO ZOMBIE CLOWNS . There is and he is a big guy and I would have jumped out the window to avoid so if you have a clown phobia do not go lol . Watch for the big guy with the shield/chain saw. He is big and scary and relentless

What a night !! Zombie Uprising puts you in the thick of it from the off !! Loud bangs and lots off shouting haha. The lads were amazing in character, even felt intimated asking what moisturiser they used for their beards 😂. The zombies them selves were great fun, all you would hear was TITAN !!! across the other end of the room and you would leg it haha. Definitely going again and maybe to try their different venues but chesterfield is a fantastic place to start !! Definitely needs a few more zombies chucked in 🙌🏻. 5 Stars !!

Me and my partner love anything to do with zombies, so I surprised my partner for his birthday. It was absolutely fantastic really realistic, the team work very hard at making it real as possible and they do them selfs proud. Well worth the money from the moment the gates open.

I’m going to the Chesterfield location on Saturday. Do we end up covered in blood and guts or do we not need to worry too much about what we wear?

You do not end up in blood and guts, but it is an old warehouse which is damp and dirty so I would recommend wearing old clothes.

Which is the nearest train station stop to you?

Sorry, my husband drove so I am unsure of how far it is from the train station. If you go on the website you should be able to get a better idea of the location.

Would this be suitable for a group of 14 year old lads or would they need an adult? Or is it geared more towards adults full stop?
Unfortunately not. All participants must be aged 16 and over. The event is for adults only due to its content.

Do they use dry ice at these venues
Hi Richard,
We don't use dry ice at the events.
Thanks
