A very good traditional pub serving great real ale and good food. Very pleasant atmosphere inside and plenty of outdoor seating. Staff friendly. Owned by a small local brewery. Recommended

Food cold staff disgusting keep well clear as you’ll only be disappointed so don’t give them your money spend it elsewhere

Hi there. We are sorry you visit to the Rose and Crown Brampton fell below your expectations. We do take complaints very seriously but I must admit, this review came as quite a surprise as we’ve had no instances of complaints due to cold food mentioned to us at all during service. I would like to investigate this matter further. Could you send details of your booking with us including date/time and booking name as we would like to make it up to you. Great range of mainly local cask ales, you must try Brampton's a Golden Bud!
Large, friendly, locals pub, a mile or so from Chesterfield town centre. Limited, mainly lunchtime food offering.

Always preferred the brewery tap tramway tavern but the rose and crown has really upped their game recently. Great selection of beer and the refurbishment of the pub has made loads of difference, happy to have this as my local again

We had a pre- Christmas meal with our family. Fantastic service, great staff and a fantastic meal. The evening was great and we were all very relaxed. Thanks Matt and Staff

Called in with friends to sample the many real ales on offer and thought we’d have a bite to eat as well.
My wife and my pals wife had the Sunday dinner which was excellent and my pal and me had a pork pie each also excellent.
The staff are great nothing is to much trouble and the beers 🍺 very well kept and pulled by people who know the correct way to serve ale , so all in all we had a great afternoon and would not hesitate to recommend this house to people

4 of us Had a Sunday Lunch, each Trying to have a different meal, Pork Beef and Lamb on offer for £6-50 with 5 veg, cant beat that. Served to the table piping Hot and Tasted Delicious, Bar Staff were very pleasant and couldn't do enough for us on quite a busy afternoon, 4 meals and four Pints for less than £40 " what a Bargain " well worth a Visit,

Have organised a couple of events here now and am very impressed. The staff are efficient and friendly and the Pub is clean and has a lovely atmosphere. We had a buffet meal on out latest event and it was excellent with food in abundance with a good selection of beers. We will definitely continue to frequent this establishment!

Nice, clean spacious pub with friendly atmosphere. Very popular with the real ale brigade with large selection of hand pull beers if that's what you are into. Something on several nights / week.
