Saw Dirty Dusting last night at the Pomegranate Theatre. Lovely Theatre, very comfortable and friendly staff. The show was brilliant, so funny from the start to the very last minute - best finale I've ever seen!! The actors were terrific, really funny and there were many belly laughs - real laughs - from the audience at such a pleasing performance! I love Chrissy Rock anyway as an actress and she's fabulous in this play along with her colleagues and they all act well together. Go see it, you won't be disappointed; but be broad minded as, it's as it says on the tin, Its a little bit dirty!! Brilliant brilliant brilliant entertainment

I have performed at the Pomegranate twice now - my most recent one being this February for Our House - and both times have been incredible. The show ran smoothly and the venue was always very clean. It is a nice theatre to perform in and I will continue to perform there for many years.

The Beauty and the beast panto was brilliant, especially Andrew Fleming for comedy role of Philippe Philoppe. He absolutely smashed it, excellent impersonator and so funny. The theatre is a beautiful building and it was very well organised.

Visited the Pomegranate Theatre to the fantastic Clinton Baptiste show, I understand the venue is old and a traditional building but some very basic upgrades could surely be incorporated into the fabric of this building. The men’s toilet facilities was very poor, a huge queue formed to use 4/5 urinals. The bar was costly and not stocked well. The place needs a revamp quickly, I do not think I come again until things improved, other venues are local enough to not warrant a return. A real shame.

Car parking outside for the disabled or many carparks around if not.
Beautiful old theatre. We went to see a film. Cheaper than the cinema. There are a few steps to the bar or you can avoid the area and go into the screening.
The chairs are reasonably comfortable and clean
Lovely evening out

We had circle seats for The Buddy Holly Show. Comfortable, clean & warm throughout the show. Staff very cheerful & also helpful. The stairs are quite steep & if you have mobility issues this should be taken into consideration. This theatre has character. Look forward to a return in the near future.

Just come back from the Pomegranate Theatre and it was one of the best Pantomimes I have seen in years, we go every year and they get better and better or is it I am getting younger.
It was a great start to the Christmas period. All The cast were excellent and the snow seen was the topping to the show to me and all the children were really excited when the snow started falling on them ( a night to remember)

Went here to watch the Buddy Holly story it was a fantastic show good music the cast were full of joy when doing all the songs. The theatre is a gem with a good bar area the seats and decor are plush and the lighting and sound good. The staff are helpful and attentive. When not used for a live show you can watch cinema screening. A good venue

Really enjoyed the ballet, slightly out of time but otherwise delightful.
The bar staff however, I felt were a little “haughty” (?). Having worked in a bar I understand it can be stressful, but when you have people lined along the bar, to ignore all those except the ones queueing - highly rude, especially when it wasn’t busy and none of us were rowdy or at all disrespectful.
Also, as a group of 4 (mother and three 20+ ‘girls’) we all requested paper cups for our drinks as we are highly against the use of unnecessary plastic and in this day and age the insistence on taking in a plastic cup that will then simply be thrown away is ridiculous ... we got some funny looks for this. And had to explain ourselves before being ALLOWED 🧐
I have to say not one of my favourite refreshment areas.
Otherwise the theatre itself was lovely, and the seating/toilets were both clean and perfectly comfortable.

We are currently taking up the offer of 7 plays for the price of 4 to celebrate the theatre 70th anniversary. We have seen the 2 so far and they have been well acted and very entertaining. If you want a night at the theatre I would definitely recommend this group of plays.

We visited the theatre recently and the play One for the road was great but the seating area was really cold and we were all freezing, this is the second time we have found this to be the case .can you tell me if anything can be done about it as we love the place but it is putting us off coming again.
