It's not by chance we chose to move to Bradford-on-Avon - it's surrounded by beautiful places such as this! Albeit it's not a massive space, the grounds are stunning. We had one of the best experiences ever meeting one of their cats and him showing us around on my birthday. We really enjoyed the variety of the gardens, with an Asian themed area for example, and some quintessentially British parts etc. Visit at different times to enjoy different aspects for sure, and stop for a nice slice of cake and loose leaf teas if you get time.

Luckily visited on a beautiful sunny day quite tight road down into with free parking staff outstanding six pounds entry picnics not allowed rather steep up as gardens are set on a long steep landscape well planted and beautifully and lovingly kept Lovely to recharge we had live music which was brilliantly eccentric and well preformed tea rooms all good a true gift

What a perfect day we had in BOA which was topped off with the restful and leisurely stroll through this extremely beautiful garden. The history of the manor and gardens is amazing and the setting is breath taking. I do wished they had more posts to identify the beauty that was on display but it was very relaxing and the views stunning. Well worth the cab ride out to experience it.

First Important thing... Roads to Iford Manor are very very narrow!! Should be a one way system in place. Second important thing... Take cash! Do not have card facilities on this site. £6.00 for adults. Gardens themselves are very very pretty, but set out on steep terraces. Spent about an hour and a half walking around before tea in the café. Reasonable prices for drinks, cakes etc.

Have not been to Iford for several years and was most impressed with the changes that have taken place whilst keeping the essential Peto design. We visited on a Friday and I must admit the highlight of the visit was a chat with your very knowledgeable lady gardener .Turns out she lives in Bradford on Avon just up the road. She took some of her no doubt valuable time to explain various flowers and shrubs and the plans that are afoot to develop the garden. You are indeed lucky to have such a knowledgeable lady on the staff. We shall certainly be returning again in the near future
