Great couple of boat dives with Richard and the crew from Aquaholics off Rathlin Island and under Carrick-a-Rede ropebridge, Richard was an excellent guide keeping it relaxed but very professional and safety being paramount. Rented all gear from them, the boat and whole operation to a very high standard. Had time to have picnic on Rathlin island in-between dives. Brilliant day had thanks to Aquaholics, we'll be back diving with them again.

We booked a private boat for our group of 10 and they went our of their way to accomodate us on 2 days notice. We chose the "puffin express' tour which we really enjoyed. Our skipper was very informative, helpful and funny and the boats were second to none. Really enjoyed this boat tour and would recommend to anyone in the area

Fantastic trip! Recommend to anyone! We booked as a big group with a mix of adults and children, going on to Islay from Ballycastle and back.

Davey or skipper was amazing! He was so kind and patient getting all our bags and whisky from our Islay tour safely stowed away. He was a wonderful skipper and even took us on a detour close to Rathlin Island to see the puffins. Very smooth and fast crossing.

The boat is so new and smart, it also has shock absorbing seats inside the cabin for a very comfortable trip. We were all given lifejackets and a safety brief before starting.

Breathtaking scenery and a incredible experience! Will definitely book again!

We were a group of 12 divers chartering from Aquaholics. Richard and his team are excellent! Such great boats with lifts to get you out of the water which is amazing. Nothing was a problem. Any dive gear issues were quickly sorted by the team.

Would highly recommend if you want to dive Rathlin Island as the skippers know the tides inside out so the skippers are waiting for you after a drift dive at 30m.

We stayed in the lodge as well and it was all so easy, check in/out so simple, loads of space, very well stocked if you want to self-cater and lots of local recommendations and advice as well.

We'll definitely be back again!

We took a group of 12 guys from Ballycastle to Campbelltown as part of a golf trip last month. Captain Davey and Gerry were the perfect crew, making our over-and-back trip easier than I ever imagined. While tending, first and foremost to the boating task at hand, they were both also very willing to point out the terrific sites and provide a great story or two. The boat was comfortable, with inside seating and a terrific stern deck. Aquaholics is very professional group, but the guys were informal enough to make our journey relaxing and enjoyable.

After Richard rearranged our carrick-a-rede tour times 3 times with us, he then realised he'd double booked when we were out on the water so cut our trip short by 30mins with zero compensation (as he agreed he would) when we tried to question him as to why he was going back on his word he kept walking away, completely dismissing us. His excuse was "sure you got a bit of everything sped up". In another attempt to go back on his word he then lied saying we were late for our tour, we weren't. Extremely poor management and customer service, I definitely do not recommend giving Richard any custom.

Thank you Hannah for review. Yes you were booking in for 5pm that day, yes we did offer to bring forward to 3pm trip which you were delighted with and when I rang you to see if you wished 2pm you again were delighted as heavy rain and winds forecasted for the late afternoon. You agreed to meet me 1.50pm, I said 2pm would be perfect. 2.15-2.20pm you turned up and was apologetic and said you were late due to Roadraces at Armoy. We set off and about 10 minutes later my office did ring me and yes we had another group to take which our other boat would not be there in time for. I asked would you considered returning and going later but it did not suit you so no problem we carried on. You were never rushed at Carrick a rede and I said several times when swimming and when also your young lad got out to stay in as long as you want. I had anchored and switched engines off and no rush was ever mentioned when there. We photo of you at 2.56pm swimming up close to bridge with boat still anchored. We returned to harbour a 3.29pm and you got off. You met the other group and someone asked how was trip and you said “brilliant” Aquaholics takes great pride in what we do and ensuring everyone has a great trip. I received an email Sunday evening and I tried ringing Monday morning. Ensuring everyone enjoy ours trips is vital and I emailed you to resolve. To answer your other comment's in email – You mentioned the other group got longer, they got exactly the same trip/time and then on returned booked for another trip. You queried they were back later than your trip -the reason for that is we had to stop at Kenbane headland and tow back a broken fishing boat with 2 persons on board. That of course delayed us. hopefully we will see you again kind regards Aquaholics

We had a fantastic boat trip with Richard. He was great at showing us the wildlife and telling us about the coastline. We sailed in the evening and it was spectacular to see the scenery from the water. We even had a well planned sunset! Perfect for all ages to enjoy.

Fantastic experience. Every detail was covered when booking and contacting. All perfectly on time. It may appear a little expensive at first, but much is involved and the experience is well worth it. David , our 'Captain' was wonderful and perfect in handling the boat , and very helpful with our whole party. David helped us all , very patiently, with all our luggage, especially on the return with all of our Distillery bottles.
Thank you so much. Never to be forgotten experience. Look forward to next time.

Spectacular trip! The tour guides were excellent with responding in a timely fashion on instagram and helped me book the perfect tour while I had only 1 day in Portrush.
Amazing views of the North Coast and Dunluce Castle.
And we were accompanied by dolphins for the whole ride!! Thanks to the captain for allowing me a quick dip in the sea as well!
10/10 recommend. Perfect for families(kids will absolutely love the dolphins), friends or even the solo traveler.

Took the Aquababy rib for a one hour family trip heading out from Portstewart around and past Portrush, The Skerries all the way to Dunluce Castle.
It was fantastic, the sights and sounds, smells and splashes were enjoyed by the whole family.
Peter Boston, our driver was very welcoming, funny and informative as he told us all about the history, geology and wildlife in the area. He paid a close eye to keeping the whole party safe throughout our trip
We would go back again
Brilliant part of our day out
