Fantastic Beach.

Park just off the road or drive onto the beach.

Walk to the left towards Benone beach & pass the Dunne waterfall.

Walk to the right & see Mussenden Temple on the cliffs above you.

This is another one of the North Coasts beautiful beaches which includes Benone beach, Castlerock beach, Portstewart Strand, Whitepark Bay etc.

Spectacular beach with loads of space to walk and play!
Aug 2021 • Family
Stunning beach. Lots of space. Lifeguards on duty. You can drive your car onto the beach and there is also a car free zone (unfortunately a couple of cars had ignored this though). Small car park and toilets above the beach.

Stunning views with white sand
Apr 2021 • Friends
Went down a few times to this beach and it never disappoints, pure white sand, no rubbish and views that will take your breath away.
I am part of a motorcycle group called ‘Biking adventures and routes Northern Ireland’ abs we try to get to beautiful places around NI/Ireland.
I have been here with my family for barbecues and playing in the sand to the sun goes down.
If you want a beach that has plenty of space this is that place.

Gorgeous Beach

Beautiful sandy expansive beach
You can park for free on the beach which is great as you have easy access to everything you need
There are miles and miles of beach running away into the distance
Scenic with the cliffs behind it and being over looked at the east end by Missenden temple.

Drive through the little tunnel and you're on the beach!
Plenty of space for beach games, suitable for surfing but no life guards here. We had a drive through ice cream from the van on the beach. Lovely for walks. Even better if the sun is shining!

Excellent quiet beach
Jan 2020
A lovely stunning quiet beach. Following my walk from Magilligan to Mussenden Temple. Today was cold so there was not many people about I expect on a sunny day it would be quite different

Great beach across from great BnB
Sep 2019 • Couples
It seems to be off season so we understand the activity might be far less then peak season but still the beach is wonderful. You can drive, horseback ride and walk on it during low tide. Long expanses of area to walk. Get close to some exciting natural structure. We have seen kite flying as well.
Very calm and serene.
