Fantastic time with Mick and the segways on Benone beach. It was our son's first time and Mick was absolutely superb with him.

We've had a few goes on these Segways now & we can highly recommend them - the glides on the beach are great fun or hired for a birthday party gives a real talking point - can't wait to do the tour of Musseden temple on them next! Great value experience with a very friendly & helpful instructor!

I was a little sceptical when Segway-ing was suggested as an afternoon activity, but I'm very glad I didn't let that get in the way! Mick, the very friendly and knowledgeable guide, leads you all around the grounds of Mussenden temple, adding his local knowledge and colourful anecdotes along the way. The Segways are surprisingly intuitive to use once you get the hang of them (a couple of minutes instruction from Mick will sort that out) and you can get up to a decent speed if you choose, with the different types of terrain around the grounds offering different challenges. The scenery is also pretty beautiful, with views over Downhill and Castlerock. We felt that the time you get (slightly over the 1 hour billed) as well as the equipment (Segway and helmet) and personal instruction provided (we were in a group of three) means it is well worth the £25. I understand there is a shorter, 30 minute option, but as our 1 hour slot absolutely zipped by I think any shorter would have felt too short. Overall, this is a really fun and different way to spend an hour at the North Coast. It might be hard to look cool on a Segway, but you'll have a big smile on your face throughout! Highly recommended.

We met mick on the car park of mussenden temple and got our helmets and safety briefing. I was nervous about going on a Segway for the first time but mick is excellent and puts you at ease. The temple site is challenging with hills and bumps etc which all make for an exciting experience. Recommended for kids over 7 stone and who are confident. I loved it and will be back for more!
