Top Notch Tourist Information
Apr 2019 • Couples
Visited Limavady and wandered into Visitor Centre to browse any information available.
Mary on customer service desk was so helpful and enthusiastic about the area. We were offered lots of information and leaflets/ maps for local trips. We bought tickets for a musical event The Illegals which was possibly one if the best events we have been to in a long time.

Me and my partner recently called in to the centre to discover places of interest in the local area for family who will be visiting soon..we were welcomed by a staff member called Pamela..she was very helpful, pleasant and informative, recommending lots of different places in the area for our friends to visit..We didn't know that at the centre there are various nights with entertainment..highly recommend calling at this centre for info regarding friends calling in the area..or also to discover what is on at the centre..

20p map.

This place was well-located on the main street, inside the ground floor of the Roe Valley Arts & Cultural Centre (look for a building with colourful vertical pipes, opposite a very colourful pink wall with a mural of a girl and a dog). There’s a stone sculpture like a ball with waves near the entrance doors. The staff were very helpful, and were able to give me a map of the town for 20p. They had a big, clean public toilet. There was the usual tourist type shop, and the art gallery upstairs was very good.

Art work was interesting to walk around
Sep 2017
When there for a club anniversary the upstairs gallery was visited and the different pieces on at the time were rather interest to view. The staff at reception are very friendly and helpful. With the food and drinks at the end they were great at the service and provided a good amount for the whole people present that evening.

Visited this place in Feb 2014 with my bestie. It's a beautiful place but once you've visited locally there isn't a lot to do!

The people are friendly, nice little village

In town? Worth a visit
Jul 2017
The Visitor Information Centre is situated in Roe Valley Arts and cultural Centre. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. There are ongoing displays of various kinds that change at interval through the year in the galleries and in the entrance area. Participatory events, mainly in the summer, are organised in the adjoining Drumceatt Square. There are various souvenir items for sale at reasonable prices available from the staff at the counter. If staying in the town it is worth asking about events, including talks, films and live performances taking place in the theatre.

The friendly, knowledgeable host explained our in-town options, as well as providing information on the local trails and walks. The maps and brochures she gave us provided a foundation for our three week stay nearby.

The centre is very welcoming and the staff very friendly and helpful. It is spacious with a good selection of high quality work from local designers on display when I visited. The exhibition is well set out. The centre is well worth a visit.
