There’s some really good mountain bike trails in the actual woods itself, good jumps and berms. Would be good if there was a few more!

Located by spotting a tiny sign off the Trench Lane/Stratford road you go down a small car track where it open up under the noisy A46 above. Room for around 10 to 15 cars. We went on a Sunny Mon Afternoon mid July & were...More

A lovely setting with well maintained path. No success with seeing a purple emperor but that’s nature for you.

Good walk round outside about 1.25 hours. Be careful you do share the wood with wild animals, horses with riders, deer, rabbits, squirrels etc. Can get very muddy in winter or after a lot of rain. Down side no bins so take dog waste home...More

Although there is a stone circular track around the wood on this visit we stuck to narrower dirt paths which weave through the trees. There always something to see and its always such a relaxing place to be whatever time of year you visit. If...More

A great place to visit - especially in the autumn. There is a path so you don't get too muddy if it has been raining. You can walk for as long as you like. A circular route probably takes about an hour and a half.

So acter putting in the postcode, and being repeatedly told I was at my destination, or to "turn around when possible" in the middle of the A46 I attempted to find it for 20 minutes before giving up. Not a sign post. Not a clue....More
