Full of wools, do not recommend. The moment I saw the Lonsdale trackers and reebok shoes I thought “oh my god it’s 1980 again”. I asked the fella next to me for the date, turns out it was 2020 and I was in birkenhead which made sense. Then I heard the fake scouse accent AND HAD TO LEAVE

The Tranmere ground was first opened in 1912, and whilst it has improved and progressed since then, it still maintains the traditional style, and all the better for it. The away end is called the Cowshed stand, apparently relating back to an earlier building. The pitch view is good and at the opposite end of the pitch stands the mighty Kop stand. Stewarding was sensible and friendly. The state of the pitch was not good, but following several dry and windy days, to be honest, I expected worse. We were staying in the centre of Liverpool and access through the tunnel and to Prenton Park was easy and cheap by direct bus, there are I think several routes, I travelled on a 464.

Probably my 14th visit here over the years. Much improved ground. Pitch dreadful due to drainage problems and Liverpool FC ladies team playing too many games on it. Access and egress from the seats onto the stair gantry and staircase elvels to go out poor and far too narrow in my view for safety evacuation, takes far too long. 1,500 away fans there on my visit and it was dangerous and took far too long to get everyone out. That needs looking at. Police horses unnecessary outside for an 8,000 attendance and no historical trouble between the two sides playing..Overall one of the better grounds in League One by a long way and friendly stewards. Hope they can sort the pitch out over the summer, ruined by over-usage and some FA insisting a Ladies game was played on the pitch, when it shouldnt not have been.

Your always made welcome here. Home or away fan, you can mix, chat and reminisce of previous meetings etc. Great pre game things to do for kids and adults together. Great tours of the ground and hear the history of how a grass roots football team can manage on such a small budget.

All are welcome, come early and enjoy your visit. Always helped by staff and admin if you have an ailment like me.

Great stadium for league 1. Enjoy your visit as i do when i can

This was my first visit to Prenton Park. Before the game we had a drink in the fans zone. There was a mix of home and away fans, with a friendly atmosphere. Inside the stadium, the away end has a good view of the pitch. The facilities under the stand are a bit dated and dingy. But altogether a great day out especially as my team Shrewsbury Town won 1-0

Located near a few trainstaions and surrounded by pubs, this is a great stadium.
Good views of the game from where ever you sit.
Food and service great and reasonably priced.
Great family and community club.

Very good experience for away supporters of any football club. Facilities for food and drink are now in a Hospitality tent where home and away fans can gather. There is a big screen for watching the "early kick-off" and good background music if necessary. Views from the away "Cowshed" end are uninterrupted and food ,drink and toilet facilities have been recently improved to a good standard.

Well-supported club with a decent stadium. Good view of game and lively crowd. Toilet facilities are barely OK. Interesting beer marquee outside stadium itself. Parking (£5) is good and not too bad getting away.

I coach for my grassroots football club and we took 24 children and 21 adults to watch the Liverpool vs Tranmere friendly. The ticket process was easy and very straight forward. Entry to the group was easy but we did not feel fully safe as we had to queue on the road for 20 minutes before the police decided it would be a good idea to close the road. The stadium is an absolute dump and in desperate need of a good clean and in much need on renevation. For a club who has money to buy and take away football pitches away from local kids must have money to improve their stadium and area around it. All in all we had a great evening and looking forward to next year. Thanks for having us

As you walk in there is an area in which to smoke before you enter the concourse which the police wont let you smoke which means everyone is in the toilets doing it. No food at half time and the seats are falling to bits all rusty this ground is a traditional old football ground that's ready for a bulldozer
