Secondary Cause of Death
Jun 2019 • Couples
This is a quaint small theatre in Birkenhead who put on a variety of different productions throughout the year. On this occasion we saw Secondary Cause of Death by Peter Gordon - a spoof on an Agatha Christie whodunnit. It was well acted and very entertaining and kept you guessing right until the end who in fact committed the crimes. The seats are reasonably comfy and you get a good view of the stage from wherever you sit. The staff, who are mainly volunteers, are very friendly and helpful. There is a very large free car park not too far away. This season I was a subscriber with one of the perks being reserved seats. However 4 out of 6 occasions when we went we had a problem with our seats. So in future I will be buying tickets as and when we want to visit.

Blithe Spirit
Feb 2019 • Couples
A lovely small quaint theatre in Birkenhead. Despite a problem with our subscribers seats we really enjoyed the performance of Blithe Spirit. It was very well acted and pacy - it is hard to believe that the company are amateurs! It was a longer than usual play finishing around 10.15. The seat are reasonably comfy and you get a good view wherever you sit. The staff, who are mainly volunteers, are very friendly and helpful. There are facilities to get hot drinks as well as a bar. Nearby there is a large car park where you can park for free after 6pm. Overall a good experience.

Go Back for Murder
Sep 2018 • Couples
The Little Theatre is a lovely little gem of a theatre in Birkenhead. The new season started with the Agatha Christie - Go Back for Murder! Very professionally performed and kept you guessing until the end who was the murderer. The seats we had on this occasion were comfy and we had a good view of the stage. The front of house staff are welcoming and very friendly. One day I might even win the raffle!

Murder Inn
Jun 2018 • Couples
Lovely quaint theatre in Birkenhead. We had another great evening watching the amateur performance of Murder Inn. The acting was good and the storyline kept you guessing until the end. The seats are comfy and wherever you sit you get a good view of the stage. The staff are friendly and helpful. The car parking is free after 6pm. We look forward to the 2018/19 season.

Jeeves and Wooster - Perfect Nonsense
Nov 2017 • Couples
A lovely little theatre in Birkenhead. On this occasion we saw Jeeves and Wooster - Perfect Nonsense. A most professional performance - the 3 actors involved had worked hard to perfect their roles and the whole thing was funny and entertaining. All staff are always friendly and welcoming, We look forward to our next visit as we have now become subscribers to this theatre.

Lovely little theatre, haven't visited for about 8 years but It hasn't changed, nice little bar/waiting area and the theatre was comfortable and provides good views of the stage area from all the seats. Perfect little venue for my cousins dance school to perform.

The Birds
Nov 2016 • Couples
This was our first visit to this theatre. We had a most enjoyable evening watching an amateur production of Daphne du Maurier's The Birds. The staff were lovely and welcoming and there is a very nice area where you could get coffee/tea or alcoholic drinks. Unlike many theatres we have visited the seats were comfortable and not crammed in. We will certainly visit again now we have found it!
