We had some bumpy seas- or as Crawford- our skipper says- the waters were yucky. He also said we didn’t want to be on “the crispy side” of the waves. He was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Went the next day and did Giants Causeway by land! Awesome adventures!

There are a number of tours available from here, so check the website for price and where it goes. To be absolutely honest the website is quite basic and, from memory, you have to click Gift Vouchers to see the various trips/costs, even if you don't want a gift voucher! It seems to be a small, possibly family run affair, so calling them is the best bet. Also it appears, from asking a few questions, that any tour most likely won't depart , unless a minimum amount of people are booked to make it worth their while. What this minimum is i don't know! (I guess around 4-6??). So if you are a small group or couple, then you will have to hope that other people want to go on the same tour as you. If you book as a couple for example, and the 'other' people booked to go on the same tour as you don't show up, then i don't know what happens!? I however, have been twice and not found any difficulties at all, but then everyone who was meant to turn up did so. The skipper appears most often be a fun relaxed guy called Crawford, who gives a few facts and fables. The trip is good craic, and the views from the sea are superb, and give a whole new perspective. A great way to see the Giants Causeway !

We were out today , we had terrible weather but still had a great time the captian gave us a great ride and great laugh . Even with the weather me and kids had a great time . Staff were so nice . Got money back as couldn't do a full trip with the strong sea , was also offered a full refund if didn't want to go as couldn't do full trip . Will defo be back on a nicer day to do the full trip . I think kids had more fun on the choppy seas but my stomach didnt like it lol . Really loved it .

We booked via the Internet for the Tour which took us from Portrush harbour to Rathlin. It by passes the Skerries, Dunluce Castle & the Giants Causeway & I found the view of Carrick a Rede rope bridge particularly fascinating. Crawford Rankin who is your Guide is superb. He adds lots of interesting facts & is really personable. He showed us the wreck site of the Gerona & a few sights we’d never seen. He stops for about an hour & a half on Rathlin which is plenty of time for lunch. He’s also really conscious of safety & the comfort of his passengers. He is one of the best tour guides we have ever come across genuinely. It cost £175 for the 4 of us but it’s well worth it. Denise 👍
