There's a good reason this is Northern Ireland's only UNESCO World Heritage site. The geological formation is very impressive; it's hard to imagine it's not man-made. I'd recommend going for a stroll along the pathway next to the main stones, as it gives you breath-taking...More

A tad costly if you're not National Trust members as they charge £9 to go in, however there is a good display and cafe etc in the building and you can get audio guides should you wish to guide you round the rocks. We did...More

It was one of the most incredible sights I've seen. Definitely on the par with the Grand Canyon. It was great to have a tram to take you uphill to the site. It was a lovely walk back. Definitely must see.

Beautiful scenery alongside the cliffs of northern Ireland, the Giant's Causeway is a stand-out ... big pentagonal steps jutting out to sea begging to be walked upon, perhaps in the footsteps of Finn McCool. Look down at the stones and see white etchings, almost like...More

See this rain or shine. What an amazing place. The tours are well worth taking and the visitors center makes large portions accessible to all, no matter what mobility limits they may have.

Really enjoyed our trip to the Giant's Causeway. The geological formation is very impressive. It was enjoyable to explore the rock formations and walk around the area. Get there early to avoid the crowds.

This was one of the most amazing places I've ever been. It's smaller in person than it looks from photos, and it was crowded with other tourists, but I still loved it. It's an UNESCO World Heritage Site for a reason! The hike from the...More

This is absolutely fascinating! The visitors center gives extensive information on the geology. If you purchase a ticket you get an audio device to listen to as you walk along the walkway. It's next to impossible to describe the rock formations so pictures will have...More

We'll be driving from Belfast to Galway and want to detour by Giant's Causeway en route. Is this feasible? Would we also have time to do the Carrick-A-Rede rope bridge? We have a hotel booked in Galway so we need to be there by evening. Thanks.
