We visited during the festival so it was free admission. Great displays of armor, archery, falconry during the festival. There is a good film about the history - great for all ages.

Carrick Castle is beautiful site to see as you are driving up to it. It cost us £10 (£5 per adult) for a 45 min visit which is quite expensive. This was due to the castle closing at 5pm and us arriving just before 4pm....More
We had a great 3 hours of exploring the castle and a picnic lunch on the grounds. The weather was great so we got to go on the upper levels of the castle walls and see the views all around.

We had a fantastic day at the castle. The staff were all so friendly and there was so much to see and do. The views from the castle walls were absolutely breathtaking! I would definitely recommend to everyone for kids and grown ups alike!
Very well preserved castle though it is smaller than it looks from the outside. We went on a very warm sunny so we looked around the castle, walked around the harbour and then went on the beach next to the castle. Had a lovely afternoon...More
