Cunningly concealed between the castle walls (adjacent to Notts Square) and County Hall, this quaint TIC is small but well packed with tourist information - some free. some for sale. Maximise your trip to Carmarthen with one of the tourist maps or tourist trails around town, your chance to uncover its hidden secrets.

Nearly 70 years since I lived here and went to school. Found memories visiting old haunts and walking the streets of ancient Carmarthen.

Never having been to Carmarthen before we sought the help of the Tourist office - staffed by Merlin. She provided maps - including a couple of walks, Names of places for Coffee etc. And a reminder of good behaviour. A time in the cells!

The staff were very helpful with suggestions of things to do. We toured the Castle on the day we arrived and the next day took advantage of their suggestion to do the 'hop on, hop off' bus ticket to tour the coastal towns including Llandudno with it's long pier and Conwy with it's wonderful castle and city walls. They offered... More

Popped in for some information on where to take the children and they were a great help. Even called the places for us to find out the information they didn't know.
