Indoor market

What you would expect from an indoor market. Not as friendly as I have come to expect from Carmarthen.

Very disappointing...! The surrounding new upmarket shopping development doesn't help it shows this little market area up...mind you none of the traders goods were exiting...! BEST thing about the place .... The little Cafe on the right of the main entrance... Very friendly ladies... AND... ham sandwiches at their best without being overcharged...!!

I'll admit my bias here as I am a sucker for markets and local businesses. Although it seemed to be more for locals than for tourists (which is fair enough) it was a nice visit with friendly staff.

Lots of little shops selling individual items, not found in the usual stores, so a great place to look for something a bit different. Something to interest every member of the family. There are also 2 small cafes, and public toilets. The only drawback is that it's only fully open on Wednesdays & Saturdays - so plan accordingly.

Simple enough indoor and outdoor market, nothing special. No need to make a special trip. A small range of local fair is avail.

Nice to have a place nearby to go and sit for lunch during lunch hour breaks. Both cafes are have friendly staff but the 1 at back of market are really friendly and obliging, always go there for lunch during week

Few bits and pieces on the indoor bit , lots more outside. Seems to have lost its true market feel though. Needs more indoor bits and some atmosphere

The market has been rebuilt in recent years, and has lost it true market feeling, worth visiting if you are in Carmarthen. Not worth a special trip, unless you want to go shopping, has leisure attractions such as pictures, cafes, coffee shops, well known stores, i.e M+S Boots, New look Debehams, But lack caricature, plenty of phone shops This is... Hadn't been to the market for years. This was awful. It's not a market anymore. Where have all the traders gone?? I can't believe how small it is.

This is a great indoor market. Nestling in the middle of modern stores, it really does have a good mix of goods and even services (you can get the IT guy to fix your smart phone or laptop!) It all feels permanent so there's the reassurance that you'll see the same people and find the same products, every time you... More
