Cadw have a small car park and a well stocked shop. Not too pricey entry and so much to see, steps to climb and views to admire. Not the largest of castles but one of the best preserved thanks to the absence of Oliver Cromwell...More

We always have fun in the castle, the kids love to make believe and runabout like lunatics. Loads of details of the castle left, it's easy to see why it's been used of so many film location sites.

On first impression and advertising literature, the castle only looks very small. However, once crossing the drawbridge, it all opens in front of you and it's huge. Much to look at and interesting staircases to climb. One of the most complete castles in Wales, so...More

This is a historically and architecturally significant castle in fairly good shape. You can climb to the ramparts for a great view of the Towy estuary.

Magical due to the snowy setting. Good tearooms here as well. Covers a small area . Unspoilt. Just nice to have a walk round.

A lovely castle with fantastic views. By no means a day trip but we had a lovely morning exploring the castle and climbing the stairs to see the surrounding views. Dogs were also welcome and ours had a great time!
