Great walking in Nature Reserve

Good for bird watching and walking. Plenty of tracks for cyclists and cycles can be rented. Only £3 parking which covers all car parks, so very reasonable. We took our own lunch... read more

We took our 7 & 5 year old here during the school holidays! Not as busy as I thought! We found a parking spot immediately! Was only £3 for the whole day to! We took a picnic which there was plenty of space to sit! Lots of shade to if u wanted. We didn't take the children's bikes with us... More

We used to like to take our dog for a walk on a warm summer morning then sit outside the harbour view cafe and enjoy a breakfast and coffee. Unfortunately each visit this year has been disappointing because of little things like lack of napkins, old dirty water or no water in the dog bowls etc. But we went this... More

We are looking to do a sponsorship event next year on our tandem and have been visiting various places to prepare ourselves and train. We had not trained for around a month and were blissfully unaware of the uphill sections at points around the route. In truth however this became a great challenge and in all honesty it would not... Took a picnic lunch here, on the first Sunday in August. The weather was so kind and I could not believe how peaceful this place was. Being disabled, it was a pleasure to find parking areas friendly and free of charge. Much appreciated. Went into the Cafe/Bar, late afternoon for a cup of tea. Offered the drink in an "outside... we took a group of 15 young people to do the grafham challenge, bush craft, raft building and water boarding. All activities were well run by safety aware friendly staff . Fun activities that were designed to challenge our young people. (aged 8-14 years) our group rated this trip (by average) 9 out of ten :)

We was walking around Graham water when we went to the visitor center for a much needed drink and a bite to eat. The food bar is clear, with a reasonable selection to choose from, and a t a reasonable price to. There is seating both in and outside, all with a lovely view of the reservoir and it's inhabitants.... More

We booked up to a family day at Grafham Water Centre. When we arrived we found out we were the only family and therefore had two instructors and the use of all the facilities to ourselves!! Our day started at 9.30 am and finished at 5.00 pm. My son aged 10 and daughter aged 8 were keen to try the... More
