Finley did a terrific job putting together a wonderful day for us. We had two perfect winery tours and a delicious lunch in a Michelin starred restaurant.
He knows the area very well and was particularly helpful explaining the history of Torino and the region.
We were very, very pleased.

My husband and adult son and I travelled to Northern Italy from Australia and spent a couple of weeks there. We went to the popular tourist destinations and enjoyed the weather, beautiful scenery and hospitality of the Italian people. However we could not completely connect as we do not speak Italian!! this is the reason our wine tour was so enjoyable and will be one of the happiest memories of our holiday.
I found the wine a pleasant interlude, to being immersed totally in the history and passion of the people. From the time we met Finlay we knew our day would be an adventure, we could sit back relax , enjoy the scenery and let somebody else worry about everything. He was fun informative and obviously had a love of his subject and a rapport with Italian people. We went to contrasting wineries from the historic but fairly commercial Contratto, where they have the most incredibly beautiful artwork on their champagne and vermouth labels. To a simple vineyard where generations of the same family had lived for 250 years, the owner showed us the dry stone building where his grandmother had been born, still used today to dry grapes. The property grew wild, very rare orchids and truffles because of their good quality organic soil, we sat in the dining room of their farmhouse enjoying local cheese, wine and good company, as the sun streamed through the windows.
Lunch was an experience not to be missed the owner came out to greet us and Finlay chatted with him and introduced us. The location was sensational perched high on a hill over looking miles of neatly tended vineyards interspaced with picture perfect farm buildings it was breathtaking. We didn't see a menu the meal was a negotiation between Finlay, the owner and ourselves, taking into consideration personal preferences and dietary requirements. We ate traditional food from the area complimented with wines to match, small dishes of interesting foods, including chestnuts in honey and butter, a raw meat dish! and a delicious chocolate cake.
When you come back from a trip and take stock, there are always things that you would choose to do differently but our Finevino Wine Tour was not to be missed!

Dear Walsh Family, thank you for such a positive review. It is always warming to know that our guests have appreciated the time that we spent together. I would just like to add that it was our pleasure to accompany you on the visit. Come back soon, there are other wonders to share.

I went there with my partner a month ago and we absolutely loved the experience!
My partner wanted to try the WE tour but I wasn’t completely sure about it as I thought it might be “too much” about wine. So I sent an email to know more about the typical day to expect and Finlay came back straight away to me with clear answers. He said it was obviously about wine but he described it as a “cultural moment” and he said it was much more to discover, for instance the gorgeous landscapes so we decided to go for it.
The experience has only be good moments really, expected or not: we received a nice welcome everywhere, the people were so friendly, the tour was exactly as Finlay said it would be, the food was as good as the wine and we did see beautiful places. I liked the way they were able to speak and describe the wine, we meet passionate people who want to share their passion with you with simplicity and precision.
I recommended it, it is a really nice way to spend a WE doing something different but nice.

Finlay and Romaine are amazing! Everything was organised up to the tiniest details. Since we contacted Finlay from the first time, he was always really careful to each of us to not get bored or to organise something that we wouldn't enjoy. He was a great listener and he put together a great trip! WE discovered so much about Piedmont! None of us it's a sommelier or a wine expert, but we enjoy good wine and Finlay and Romaine were great and made this trip quite fun!
I definitely would reccomand them to everyone! If you are looking for a nice, interesting, easy holiday and you enjoy good wine and good food, please call Finlay! Piedmont has so much to offer and it is much cheaper than Tuscany, so at least it will not break your wallet! :)

I'm planning a family vacation fall 2020. Maybe 12 or more. Is there a max for the group? Ages range from early 20's to 80's. Are there any concerns for some of the older ones attending?
