My daughters(22/26yr) and I go to this beach for some sun and fishing. Just located off of the main highway and it's next door to the Ritz Carlton Hotel. Parking is free and there's some free standing grill on grass area prior going to the beach for barbecuing. There's also a lifeguard on the premises but not sure if it's... More

This is on the west side of Maui and we found it while out exploring one day. It was a great location for boogie boarding. My kids loved it and begged to go back. They also had bathrooms and a shower to wash off the sand and salt. A great place for an afternoon!

When I asked the guy at Boss Frog's (S. Kehei) about a nice area beach to visit he recommended D. T. Fleming state beach. We went on the long drive from Wailea to this beach. There was a storm/hurricane developing along the Big Island that day, sending strong winds and currents toward Maui so most area beaches were closed. D.T... More

The waves make this a great beach for boogie boarding. The current make this an unfriendly beach for swimming. There are bathrooms, and you can park your beach chair in the shade. Our family enjoyed a morning here.

Nice beach at the north end of Kapalua. Lifeguard, picnic area, restroom, parking lot, wonderful water and Norfolk pines!

We visited this beach after snorkelling at Honolua Bay. We were glad for the bit of shade the big trees offered and our boys were able to do some great boogie boarding. Parking and space on the beach were easy to find😎

Love that there is a lifeguard here! When you walk up, review the board that they put up and ask where the rip currents are if unsure. They are friendly and helpful. The waves are usually 3+ feet and it's great for body boarding and frolicking in the waves. Surfers are usually on the right side of the lifeguard stand... More

Nice beach, went there as we were told it was a nice location to watch the sunset and as I love to take landscape pictures as well. Nice beach not a lot of people when we arrived, easy parking. Overall a nice experience

This beach is the same beach that serves the Ritz. It is just north and has restrooms, picnic tables, grills and a lifeguard station. The ocean is usually rough and good for bodysurfing and boogie boarding. Further north the waves set up larger and are popular with surfers. Therefore the lifeguards. When the wind is strong(usually the case) the sand can beat... More
