Great waves

We had a great time jumping and riding the waves! Plenty of parking, bath house and showers. The sand had many items from the trees in it and was better closer to the water.

We spent very little time there because we just sightseeing the coast. There was plenty of parking even though it was the weekend and the locals were having family picnics. The quality of the beach was pretty good. There's a bathroom and lots of picnic tables in the shade. You can walk along the coast for a good distance and... More

It is really windy but the beach is clean and beautiful. The lifeguard is close-by because the surf is high here. Stay close to the kids near the water. Surfers can get good rides here!

This beach is great for lots of reasons. The parking lot is huge. It has bathrooms/showers. There is shade and picnic tables and a lifeguard. And it is free! It might not be the best beach for swimming but it is a great place to have lunch and enjoy the view.

There is plenty of free parking at this beautiful public beach. There are about 10 picnic tables where you can sit and see the lovely view and have a meal. This is also a good beach to snorkel when it hasn't been raining. Otherwise, the rain brings brow water into the cove and isn't recommended for even swimming. This is... More

Fleming beach may or may not be your cup of tea. The biggest drawback is that the sand is littered with small pieces of driftwood, so it doesn't look as pretty as other beaches. On the other hand, the views are spectacular. On days when the water is calm, it is good for people who just want to lounge. On... More

The beach is long and beautiful; there is plenty of parking and it has full bathroom facilities and showers. It also has lifeguards on duty. I enjoyed this beach!!!

Beautiful beach, not crowded at mid-day, gradual entry, and gentle waves. Medium debris on the beach but lots of shady spots.

We stayed in Ka'anapali Beach area with our 13 & 15 year old sons. Hard to find waves in the summer on this end of Maui. The Maui beach report said these were 3-5 ft so headed out here twice, once without boogies boards and once with, ~15 min drive. My husband and I liked that there were lifeguards, shade,... More
