Long sandy beach with surfing reef on north side and variable size body surfing waves elsewhere. Pine trees, grass, restrooms, and picnic tables at the parking lot. Lifeguard on duty during mid day. I found that the signs warning of rips and current are over stated. I never had a problem here and I am in my 70's. Check it... More

Great medium to large waves. Surfers, boogie and body boarding. Pretty good free parking, fairly clean restrooms, beach could use some clean up/raking. Kids LOVED the waves, spent hours there

We were there as it is connected to the Ritz. It is a great beach that doesn't get too busy. It also has awesomeness me waves due to it location. Probably not the best beach if you want quiet waves and still water but if you want body surfing, surfing or love the sound of constant crashing waves like I... More

Not the prettiest beach, bits of tree all over but there is plenty of shade and the surf is amazing, loys of room sit and watch waves break and surfers all day. Occasionally a extra large wave will roll right up to the beach and guess what, your wet. picnic tables and lifeguards on duty till late. parking is good... More

Very lush with palm trees and grassy areas. Picnic tables to enjoy a meal or just watch the beautiful surf. Lots of parking but get there early in the morning. A very popular beach so parking spaces go fast. Public restrooms and a shower to wash off the sand. Very romantic . I shot a lot of artistic & beautiful... More

The beach is kind of small and not as nice looking as others on west Maui. Mainly a beach for lots of young people, locals, and for watching the surfers.

This beach was voted one of America's best at one point and I can see why. It is a big full beach with lots of room for families to spread out. It offers great waves for boggie boarding and is great for swimming too (saw a sea turtle swim by one morning) There are trees available if you want to... More

This beach has been named Best Beach by Dr. Beach, and rightly so. It is easy to get to, has great facilities and is often uncrowded to give you that isolated beach feel, incredibly relaxing and beautiful. From here you have a great view of Molok'ai that makes you feel you could almost touch it. Plan on spending some time... More

This is a good spot to spend the day. There are facilities and a life guard. The parking is not bad if you get there early. Sand is soft and there is plenty of it. Beautiful ocean too!!!
