This is a great beach and not terribly busy so we had a wonderful afternoon in the water, walking and just reading while listening to the waves. Everyone is friendly and there’s plenty of space to enjoy yourself.

This beach was recommended to us by an employee at the hotel as the best beach to come to for boogie boarding and she was absolutely correct. The surf was perfect. Sandy bottom beach. The first day we went it was busy but still found...More

Many Kapalua beaches suffer from super limited parking. Fleming has a large lot and there's often a place to park even on a busy day. Parking is free. The beach is long...maybe 1/4-1/2 miles and quite wide. The slope is gentle and the bottom isn't...More

DT Fleming Beach Park is idyllic - just what you'd picture in Maui. It's not very large, but the waves are great - plenty of surfing but also lots of families at the beach. They have a nice bathroom station and lifeguards on duty. Perfect...More

Fleming’s has never been the cleanest Maui beach park. Scattered trash, unclean restrooms, and too much driftwood contribute to a second rate beach. In the winter months, the surf has bigger waves that are great for bodyboarding if one is in good shape and is...More

At first, most people will be turned off by this beach, but we liked it because it was the most natural looking beach we visited. There were a few people, but not many. There is a little park, bathrooms, lots of parking, and access to...More

There can be good snorkeling here, depending on the weather/conditions. There is good parking and shaded areas for picnicking. The beach is not as pristine and kept up as some of the others however due to this it seems less crowded which is a plus...More

As with much of the island this is left un-kept in my opinion and this was no exception. Not bad but just left me feeling dirty.

The waters were pretty rough for kids to do much beach play. We ended up leaving and headed down to Kapalua Beach where we had a great time!

The nice part is this beach has lifeguards. I’m a swimmer so no big deal but for those that may need help they have staff here. Free parking as well. The bad part, they need to clean up the beach a bit. I get that...More

Yes. There is an activity kiosk at the south end of the beach right behind the tree line. I think that it is hosted by the Ritz, but probably open to all (for purchase or rental). Go towards the south end of DT Fleming and... More
