St Anne’s Lighthouse Amazing !!
Dec 2019 • Family
Booked this location in December 2018 for December 2019 New Years Annual family get together and we weren’t disappointed . The scenic views were breath taking, the swimming pool ,sauna, jacuzzi bath was a real luxury. There was plenty of room for everyone well equipped spotlessly clean . Books and Jigsaws supplied . Lovely and warm really cosy in the nights. Coastal path to take dogs for a walk with once again amazing views watching the waves crashing against the cliffs. Dale not to far and about 20-25 mins from Haverfordwest if u felt like a little shopping. If we had any queries or requests Collette and the team went out of their way to assist us nothing was to much trouble for them considering it was New Year. We have made wonderful family memories at this location . Highly recommend and would defiantly return here

Amazing Place to Stay
Sep 2019
Leaving the city to stay here for a week, was simply heaven. Surrounded by the sea, rugged cliffs, views of incredible sunsets, amazing walks, good pubs, sandy beaches, peace & tranquility, was perfect for us & the dog.

Amazingplace to stay. Surrounded by beauty
Sep 2019
Stayed here with friends for my 50th Birthday for 1 week. Fantastic facilities. Pool and room were lovely and warm. Sauna easy to use. Enjoyed the jacuzzi bath. A very quirky property. Well decorated and equipped. Short of nothing in the kitchen. Cooked great meals at night time and sat around the large dining table chatting about the day. Weather was kind to us and we sat on the patio to the rear of the lighthouse every night watching and listening to the sea and watching the boat activity. Location was great and did not have to travel far to experience the area. Watwick Bay is a 10-15 minute walk from the lighthouse. Very secluded and had it to ourselves. Attractions close by Martins Haven where we saw seals and their pups. Dale Beach had a great cafe and reasonablly priced. Other attractions in close proximity were Little Haven, Broad Haven, Marloes Sands and you are positioned on the Pembrokeshire coastal path. The beaches and their landscape were breathtaking. Furthest we travelled was to Tenby approximately an hour away. Bring your camera, binoculars, walking shoes and swim wear and a happy heart. Some of the walks to the beaches are down hill therefore uphill on the way back. Some of the roads are very narrow however there are a lot of passing places. Saw mini buses going into Dale but nothing right up to the lighthouse.Need a car I would say to get around easily. We had a 9 year old with the party who made sure he went in the pool every day as well as paddling and crabbing at the beaches. Would definetely go back. So much more to explore and for the nature and age of the property it is being well upkept. Amazing views from the top of the tower. Downside was that nobody wanted to sleep in the tower room bed. We were a party of 6 so it didn't matter. It did smell a bit musty and the outside lights were not working so you had to be careful after dark because there were two steps down to it. . You can sit outside to the front of the property as well ,no steps. Where you sit depends upon which way the wind is blowing!

Great location
Jun 2019 • Couples
We didn't stay here, just walked beside it on the footpath. It's a great location as you would expect a lighthouse to be and the rocks down to the sea were pretty impressive, called Cobbler's Hole

St Annes lighthouse
May 2019 • Family
Overall the accommodation was ok but smelt very musty as if it had been shut up all winter, the property is advertised as pet friendly unfortunately the wall in the yard was broken and i also had to clear up broken glass before i could let me dog out(on the lead) until i could make a small repair to the wall, there was also a broken window in the bathroom, there were no shelves in the fridge and the salad draw was broken, we had no hot water for 2 days as they had left it on winter mode i had to find the controls myself and reset it, we also had mice in the kitchen which they were aware off but did nothing about it, the good points were the pool, sauna and view from the tower.

Nice Quiet Break
Aug 2018 • Family
Cottages are nice and cosy and sea view is fantastic However unless you like walking , they is not much else to do.
The village is very small with one pub and you need to drive to get to the village.
This is quiet walking holiday place.

Great place for a family holiday
Jul 2018 • Friends
We spent a week with the family here in July (us plus 3 children and partners) and were blessed with wonderful weather. This probably meant that we didn't take full advantage of the masses of space and numerous seating areas in the lighthouse; there really are loads of places to sit and if you wanted to you could avoid each other altogether!
The pool is now heated and has wonderful views through the full glass windows.
We did think that maybe it would be a bit isolated, but it really doesn't take that long to get to beaches and places of interest. The Griffin Inn in Dale has an excellent fish menu with locally caught fish of the day.
The kitchen had plenty of oven space and an induction hob, also two fridges and a further one in the observation tower if you are able to carry bottles of beer up all the stairs!
The whole building was well decorated in a nautical theme, which was not overdone but atmospheric.
The bedrooms were quite basic but clean and functional, though the shower in the twin ensuite was not a torrent.
Our one difficulty initially whilst there was that in order to get to the pool you had to go through the main bathroom, which was a nuisance; the door from the games room (before the pool) to the outside was stuck. However, we mentioned this to the owners who took prompt action to get someone in to put a new lock on that door, so all sorted.
Only used the sauna once as it was so hot anyway, but this worked well, and good to have in conjunction with the pool.
Altogether a great stay in a memorable building.
