It's a smaller venue but the staff is very friendly and informative. There are several complete skeletons with alot of information into an organized and clean building!

Love this museum. Did you know that the Eastend has such a diverse fossil history?? From marine reptiles, to dinosaurs, to ancient mammals, to ice age creatures, this place has it all.

About a 90 minute drive from Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park, a great way to spend a summer afternoon. The admission is free. Besides the replicas you can view actual dinosaur bones behind the glass and the displays are informative. This is a small museum but very much worth the trip. Check out the gift shop, there are some neat items,... More

For a small location the Discovery Centre is quite nice. There is a 1/2 hour tour and a short video about how they found the fossils and continue to excavate. It's interesting stop along the way to Cypress Hills. The guide was ok. He could be more engaging.

My wife and our adolescent children 19/17 visited the museum and we were impressed by the artifacts, the well done displays and of course of T-Rex himself. Admission is free and do not miss out to ask the very friendly staff to give you a your! You will end up holding 65million Dino bones in your hands - awesome!

A visit to the T.Rex Discovery centre is a must when visiting the Town of Eastend. The Centre contains many hands on exhibits and of course a life size model of the T.Rex discovered in the vicinity. This area of Southwest Saskatchewan contains many 'gems' that should not be missed especially if history and unusual topography/ flora and fauna piques... More

Very nice museum, great displays and helpful staff. It is a small museum and it's hard to spend a reasonable amount of time with young children, but I would go there again. As this area of Saskatchewan is not highly populated it would have been nice to have a little cafe, especially when traveling with a young child.

A cool place to feel inspired about Dinosaurs! I'm sure we'll be back to read the signage and displays more (kids are too little to read yet). The boys liked handling and smelling the Dino poop!

We were passing through Eastend and saw the sign for the museum so we decided to stop. The building is built into a hill which is interesting, and the admission is free (although a donation box is available). The staff were friendly, and exhibits were interesting. You can see where they work on the fossils they are still finding too.... More

We visited for a couple hours on our way to Maple Creek from Val Marie. The museum is small however, the staff are attentive and the tours and kids activities are very personal. Great educational and low cost day trip.
