Fun water slides
Aug 2020 • Family
This place is definitely not perfect and I agree with some other reviewers that not allowing children to wear swimming suits that cover their torso is odd.
On the positive side, entry to the park is really cheap and while there are t loads of slides, the ones there are great fun. There was very limited queuing time which meant me and the children must have had over 40 or 50 goes during our time there. The slide with 6 (or 8) chutes side by side looks too short to be much fun, but you get up to a tremendous speed and can have races.
The cafe in the park has a good selection of food available, the sandwiches, baguettes etc are fine. You can get pasta which is ok, but the big surprise was the pizza. They have a proper pizza oven and the pizza I had was brilliant. Way better than most pizza restaurants!

There is an area with big inflatables behind the water park. The problem with this is that the vinyl gets insanely hot in the sun, so it isn’t really suited to being outdoors in this area. You can literally burn yourself on some of it. Some colours get hotter than others, with the hottest feeling dangerous.

Unsafe and rash guards
Aug 2019 • Family
We have been a regular to Quercyland for years, in fact you will see a good review l completed a few years ago further down this page.

Not sure what has happened but there has been a price increase, with an added dose of hostility. My daughter is scarred, this scar will never go. We have to be careful in the sun or she will burn again and end up in hospital. We are sensible parents who ensure that sun cream is high, regular and time in the sun is controlled.

Unlike the rest of the modern world sadly France still hides behind outdated ‘hygiene’ rules. My daughter and toddlers were told to remove rash guards, however, babies and toddler played in the pool in just swimming nappies...l mean toddlers with no added sun protection not to mention how unhygienic that is!

Food. Again this was previously reasonable but today’s was undercooked and sloppy pizza. Not nice at all.

The pool was freezing. Very unusual at this time of year, in fact in all the years we’ve been l haven’t experienced this.

Other child burnt her feet on the bouncy castle. All in the open full sun.

There are also lots of loose tiles around the pools/slides. Be very careful, they are not marked so you can’t tell until you’ve scratched your feet and some are very sharp.

Overall a really upsetting day. l’m not sure what’s happened. We used to love an odd day or two here but now l just feel they don’t value children’s safety, or future health.

All l will say is that you work hard for your money so you can enjoy holidays and days out with your family. Quercyland, and other businesses in the area, should value your CHOICE to spend it there.

Hello. We thank you for your visits and your opinion. This year, in fact, the price has increased by 1 euro, and this has not been the case for years. This increase is due to the fact that the access to the accrobranche course is now free, and it was 7 euros before that. Moreover, in France, companies are unfortunately more and more taxed and although we have done everything so far not to impact our visitors, it was inevitable to mark a small increase in our entry price. We are going to review for next year our rules of practice regarding T-shirts and shorts. It is certainly a problem and we have noticed it. We sincerely regret that you have come across a bad day, but know that your opinion is very important to us, and we will take it into consideration. The whole team wishes you a very nice day.

Good day out - ignore the bad reviews
Aug 2019
We visited Quercyland in August 2019 as a group of 4 adults and 6 children aged between 5 and 12. Its amazing value 10 euro per person, the slides and pools are fun and there are loads of other activities including bouncy castles and go carts. The kids had an absolute ball. We were there from 12 - 6pm and could easily have stayed longer. One of the pools is very shallow and warm with small slides and perfect for small children. There's a few big slides and one particularly exciting one. We hired sunloungers for the adults at 2 euros each which was worth it. Lots of people were having picnics under the trees. We brought a picnic but also had pizza and chips from the restaurant which was nice.
All the bad reviews are down to the sun tops, don't let them put you off.

We thank you for your pleasant visit and your opinion which delights us! We strive to make the day more enjoyable for all visitors, and we are sincerely satisfied that you have noticed! Indeed, many critics suggest that we are responsible for the weather, the disposition of trees and soil .. which is natural! But we are confident, and it's thanks to visitors like you! Many thanks to you, and we would be honored to see you again next year. Have a nice day

Swiming with sun protection swim tops
Aug 2019 • Family
Took the family to Quercyland in August 2019 and was really looking forward to the water park. There has been history of skin cancer in our immediate family and my wife, daughter and I simply take no chances with the sun.

Of course we apply factor 50 sun cream, but as is common in Australia, USA and UK we have decided to wear swim tops that protect ourselves against the sun. No problems whilst visiting the USA, but quite a different story at Quercyland. After paying entrance fee, I was told that we were not allowed to enter the pools with the tops. I explained reason and background, but was told no exemptions.

Quite ridiculous. I doubt very much that the French authorities have a blanket ban, but rather one of their silly old fashion customs. We received our entrance fee back and the cashier was quite sympathetic. At least they have relaxed the rules on speedos.

Hello, We thank you for your visit and for your opinion. As a public pool, but not a municipal pool, we are entitled to establish our own rules of use. It is true that we refuse the use of bathing t-shirts, we are sincerely sorry that you could not enjoy your day. Best Regards

Not great if you have fair skin...
Aug 2019 • Family
We were absolutely stunned when we were advised that our 2 kids, both with very fair skin, were not allowed to wear their sun protection tops. What possible reason could there be for this? We are at the start of a 2 week break and will not be back. This rule is beyond ridiculous. Looking at other reviews and subsequent replies it's for hygiene reasons? Surely a child's swim top is not a hygiene risk to anyone and in fact goes against any responsible company's ethos?

Hello. Indeed, this rule was established for a reason of hygiene. Some unscrupulous people, allow themselves to swim in a public pool dressed, with t shirts they wear all day, or even more. This rule was made so that nobody bathes dressed, for a reason of obvious hygiene. We are aware that it is difficult and even impossible to adopt this rule on a case-by-case basis, given the number of visitors per day. This rule is applied for all, so as not to make exceptions. We thank you for your visit

Great day
Aug 2019 • Family
We had a great day here with our 4.5yr old and 4mth old. So much to keep the kids entertained. Favourites for our eldest were the boats, toddler slides, and bike track. Very clean site and great trees for shade.

Cheap but not cheerful
Jul 2019 • Family
We went to this waterpark with another family during our holidays in the Dordogne this year. At only €10 per person it's cheaper than your average water park, and the slides and pools are decent enough, but they have the most ridiculous rules about swimsuits (no swim tops even if they are part and parcel of a suit - which is essential for the pale irish skin of our two children) and the rudest boss/owner I have ever encountered. The restaurant food is totally sub-standard and there are actually more flies than food (bring a picnic definitely). The bouncy castles are a good idea but badly positioned away from the shade so if it's a good, hot, sunny day (which you want for a waterpark, let's be honest) the children can't get on them without burning the soles off their feet. On the whole, I'm glad we only paid €10 apiece in.

Hello, we are delighted with your visit. Our park is an outdoor water park, we unfortunately can not put everything under shade, otherwise we would become an indoor park. It is true that the sun (especially these days) is burning, we can not control this. We try to be as diverse as possible, and we can not shady everything, and this is due to norms and closures. And for hygienic reasons, we do not accept t-shirts. The whole Quercyland team wishes you a good day

excellent day out
Aug 2018 • Family
we stayed in the campsite across the road, so was easy to get to!. first visit we got free entry as part of our canoe trip (copeyre), so didn't go in till around 2pm. park was really busy, but still didn't have to wait long for rides. found a spot on the grass which was adequate for the afternoon.

my little boy loved the smaller slides, but didnt venture onto the others until our second visit

when we returned for our other visit, the park was noticeably quieter ( it was the last week in august), which meant you could ride multiple times pretty quick. hired a sunbed for 2e, which was a good location around the main pool.

having stayed across the road, it was clear that when the weather was dull, the the park was empty, but at the slightest bit of sun, it got really busy.

Good fun day out
Aug 2018 • Family
Was a little apprehensive after seeing some reviews but it was a great day out. Spent around 5 hours here. Was quieter and no queues for rides until about 3pm when it got really busy. There were loads of pools and slides. Paid extra for a sun bed and table and chairs but could have sat in shade on grass. Kids loved bouncy castles and trampolines.

Hello and thank you for your visit. In fact, at the end of August, the crowd is lower and the park is more enjoyable. Thank you for giving your opinion and to be here to spend time in our park. The whole team of Quercyland wishes you a very good day
