Stunning pink rock formations - visit every time for walks when we’re in Brittany
Feb 2020 • Friends
Referred to amongst friends as the ‘pink rocks’ walk, we absolutely love this area. It’s such a beautiful part of the northern Brittany coastline. Would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys a scenic walk and/or a bit of a climb in the rocks. We’ve had lots of fun taking posed photos here over the years. The water is often a gorgeous shade of blue/ turquoise. The town it’s situated in is very pretty with a number of lovely little shops, cafes and seafood restaurants. In the warmer months theres also places to get ice cream. Would recommend to families, couples, groups of friends. Enjoyable for all ages.

Second-to-none place for family holidays
Sep 2019
Incredibly beautiful, whatever the weather. With children, Perros-Guirec is the best place I ever visited to spend healthy holidays, to reconnect with nature, in a breathtaking environment. Everyone will find ones pleasure, revitalizing baths in the sea at beautiful sandy beaches, sailing (with dolphins possibly!), fishing, walking, surfing, visiting 16th century chapels, playing golf at St Samson golf course, enjoying fantastic restaurants with sea view, and many more things. If you are tired of crowded beaches of Southern France and prefer the family simplicity and discretion of Brittany, do not hesitate anymore. If you are lucky enough and can rent a Villa "Belle Epoque" (20') for you and your family or friends, go for it, they are just stunning with their pink granite stone and sea view.

Start at Perros-Guirec and follow the path on GR34 of the old customs officers: water-shaped rocks, wind, time. You can imagine anything, watching them: Napoleon's hat, a witch, a rabbit, all change color with light. When the evening comes, the cliffs light up...

Definitely a place not to miss.... a wonder at every step.
I would recommend to visit early morning before people start pouring in. For those who cant walk too long, search the lighthouse parking ( Parking du phare).

Stunning vistas at every turn
May 2019 • Couples
You need to look at the rock formations from more than one direction to really appreciate the strange shapes that erosion has created. So after you pass a feature look back at it and from a different angle it seems like you are seeing it for the first time the appearance is so different. The colour of the rocks seem to change as the light alters so even the clouds covering and uncovering the sun change the effect constantly. One imagines that living close by you might notice changes to the view almost daily even the the process of erosion is imperceptible. Definitely worth a visit.

Spectacular
Apr 2019 • Couples
The cliff walks are truly spectacular and immaculately maintained. Ploumanac'h itself is a disappointment but the walks in both directions out of the village are well worth the journey.

Stunning part of the French coast with the tidal rise of up to 13 metres.
Jul 2018
We drove from Paris, getting out of the city was easy as we picked up a car at the airport and the drive was pleasant but getting into Brittany and Normandy was easy to navigate but stunningly beautiful. The most astonishing aspect is the bidaily tidal influx of up to 13 metres correcting the listing aspects of the yachts and boats to their natural aquatic position. Food was fabulous in many of the little restaurants and the pink luminosity of the rocks on this coast is quite spectacular. Worth a visit when in France.

Awesome

This did not even show up in our travel books. The owner of our rental unit recommended it. Though it was a very rainy day with the wind blowing, we concluded the weather improved the experience. The rocks are simply incredible.
