I have visited here on several occasions and it is always nice to come back.
Great place for walking your dogs, although they must be kept on a lead by the visitors centre, cafe area and garden area.
Lovely large children"s play area and plenty of benches and seats to sit on around the park.
There is a nice garden at the rear of the cafe and it is full of wildlife.
As you walk towards the river walk area, you will see a small waterfall. It is this area that dogs love to have a bit of a swim.
There is now a well built path alongside the river, but you can also take a walk in the river with your wellington boots on if you wish.
You can then take a walk up to the ruins of Ewloe Castle which is nice to have a walk around, before making your way back down the path to the river.
There are some steps which lead up to the old golf course, this is now a large field which they seem to have left to be a nature reserve.
There is also the Roo Dee fishing pond.People have to have a permit to fish here.
You also see ducks and coots in the pond so it is quite nice to walk around watching them.
I then walked around by the visitor"s Centre where i sat on a bench to have a cup of tea and sandwich.
There is ample parking in the large car park but it does get busy as the day goes on and during the Summer.
Its a lovely place to visit for all the family or if you just want a relaxing walk.

This park is so quiet you would never think it was off a main road in a residential area. There is something for everyone here. Follow the boardwalk to the waterfall or continue further to Ewloe castle. Call into the visitor centre for a map and information about the history of the area. The cafe has indoor and outdoor seating and there are picnic tables on the grass. The children’s play area caters for young children and those slightly older with different slides, swings and climbing net. For older kids the skate board ramp is close by. Lots of people with dogs with set areas where they can be let off the lead. Free car parking too. Will definitely visit again.

I’d like to thank a group of ladies visiting the cafe and a lovely lady who worked there, for helping me after I fell on the path walking my dog on Wednesday 28th July. You were all so kind when I was in a mess. I appreciate your kindness more than I can say. You were everything I needed. Thank you so much x

Great Park. Play area and skate park located close to the car park then a lovely walk up by the waterfall that continues to Ewloe Castle.

This park trip was made extra special because we came across a lady who was from Liverpool. She was there with a group of others from a charity fund taking under privileged children on holiday in North Wales for a week. She told us about how much joy it gives her to see these children enjoy things children should be able to enjoy. She said she had been doing it since she was a teenager and was now 70. I wish there was a way to of getting this woman rewarded because, for one person to give so much of her life to help children enjoy there time is simply amazing.

Great place to visit as a family to blow away the cobwebs for a few hours. The waterfall is a great start and my son loved finding the castle. We did end up going of the beaten track a little and this was great fun however if you intend on doing this then I would recommend proper walking shoes (I was glad we had ours).

Roads crowded around the park, and a height restriction in place (7' 5") which meant our camper van couldn't get in to the car park (we are 7' 6"), and we missed out. We couldn't park on the streets either. Very disappointing !

The park itself is lovely, if a little muddy at times. In the summer though, half the field (that was previously great for picnics / playing games) is taken over for car-parking.
What was once a quiet walk through the woods is now as 'peaceful' as a busy high street. Such a shame it is being spoiled this way.

Not worth it. Too busy by far. No open play area as the field is used to park cars. Walk to castle is like walking through a busy high street and is often muddy due to sheer numbers of people waljing.

I used to live in the area and revisited Wepre park in August. I could not believe how much it has changed. It used to be a beautiful and peaceful little haven.
It is now crammed with people. There were cars everywhere.. car parks rammed, adjoining fields full and parking on the roadsides nearby.
All the pathways throughout the park were full of people.
