Perfect Pinot Grigio , tradition, high quality, social support and friendly people.
Always come in as a friend and leave satisfied ( of course with wine in the car).

We have always been a fan of Villa Russiz wines. They are reasonably easy enough to source in London, mainly from specialist wine shops rather than restaurants or wine bars. The prices are usually on the higher end but justifiably so as the quality is equally high and we are more than happy to pay for it.
On our visit to north Italy recently, we thought we'd pay the vineyard a visit. It was a trek as we didn't have a car and did everything by public transport but what we ended up with was an amazing journey and a truly memorable day. We enjoyed meeting Matteo, who spoke very good english and gave us a run through of the several type of wines produced by Villa Russiz which we have never seen outside of Italy. He also told us about the vineyard's history and aspirations, essentially, it is a charitable foundation that works with children from difficult backgrounds. The oenologist Giovanni then took us through the cellar for a visit, an amazing space but what impresses us most of all was his passion for his work. At the end of our tour, a lady recommended a wonderful place to have lunch - an osteria on top of a hill with panoramic views of the vineyard and nearby golf courses.
If you have an opportunity to visit this beautiful part of Italy, famous for its white wines, you should do so and I would highly recommend making a booking on their webite for a visit Villa Russiz.
