A very nice and well maintained monastery. A peaceful place to stroll and admire the architecture. There was an exposition about brothers Becquer (one was a writer and the other a painter).Apparently in XVIIIth century it was a popular place for gothic novel's writers.

the monastery is a nice break from normal routine and has a wine museum inside. It is only 1.80 euros to get in and well worth the money.

Ticket price is 1,80 € for an adult. The monastery is very well maintained and the visit includes the entrance to the Museum of Wine and Olive Oil where you can also buy some local products.

This Monastery was well worth the visit taking about 2 hours. It gives some insight into what the English monastrys' must have been like before Henry bashed them around. Of extra interest was the wine museum although the wine was not cheap to buy in...More

Second visit here to both the monastery and wine museum. Easy to spend 1-2 hours. Avoid buying wine at the wine museum as it is way overpriced. Entry charge of 1.80 euros for the monastery and wine museum was well worth it.
