My friend rented a boat, and we stopped at a couple of islands/keys near Manasota Key where we stayed. Unfortunately, the red tide was pretty bad, but the abundance of sand dollars made up for it! Very secluded & quiet beach

One of our favorite anchorages is nearby Don Pedro. We love to take our dinghys over to the park and enjoy the beach

This is a very serene place, a place for reflection, for peace. The birds are amazing, and plentiful. The water is simply beautiful, calm. Enjoy the shuttle ride.

First, you can only access the island by boat, kayak, paddle board, canoe, etc! BUT, the journey there is awesome! We saw dolphin, birds, fish, and manatee. We parked our car ($3) and paddled across the ICW. Followed the mangroves, under the little bridge to...More

I believe only accessible by boat or kayak. Not many dock spaces, so get there early and plan to picnic all day. Medium covered porch area with picnic tables and a couple of grills off the back. A wonderful location for a day get away...More

Not in the park. But local businesses do rent and may meet you there.
