You may come with the bus from Valdivia, with the taxi, with a rented car or just by foot, but nothing prepares you for the scenery in which this old fort is placed. Naturally!, you must expect that a fort is well placed, but here...More

Wonderful!!!!! A great place to get the kids out and see some Chilean history. A lot to see and space for the kids to stretch the legs. Wonderful views of the ocean!

Beautiful view to visit with family and kids. A cheap parking right across from it and short walk to a traditional fair with Chilean food, empanadas, anticuchos, fried dough and more

We had the opportunity to view this fort with its spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean on a day when there was sun, and you could see the confluence of the rivers and the bay where the Spanish had built their fort to prevent the...More

Free entry. Try to listen to the tour guide (he is dressed as a pirate) as the experience will be much more entertaining. Be warned, at sunset there's a strong wind blowing and it gets kinda cold.
