Cozy Comedy Club - The big Hoo HAA!
Jul 2018 • Friends
I have a couple of weeks off work, so i have been searching the web for something different to do, to my surprise we have several comedy clubs around Perth, this was my first live experience.

Located above the Brisbane hotel, I started my night with a meal in the Hotel and made my way upstairs for the event.
It was great, I loved the cozy feel of the room with the exposed brick look and green door at the center stage. The steps up to the venue are very steep, but I was able to make my way without too much trouble, hand rails on both sides help getting up and down.
If you have ever see the Drew Carey improv show that was on tv for some time, this show is very similar. But so much better being there in person and being able to interact with the comedians onstage. The host is very welcoming and warmly encourages you to join in.

I went on Saturday night, which is when they have the Big Hoo HAa night, but they also have a Tuesday night show for new comedians and on Friday night they have seasoned comedians. I will have to make time to see more shows as it was well worth it.

A fun night out
Dec 2013 • Couples
Found this place on Facebook and decided to check it out for something different to do. Located upstairs at the Brisbane bar, we had a couple of drinks and a tasty pizza before the show. Tuesday was open mic night so some acts were really funny and others not so much. Despite this, the night was fun and recommend it for an entertaining night out.
