You should really visit this distillery. Perfect location in middle of nowhere; clean and well kept; nice shop; good tour and tasting. Old fashion way of distelling.

We were given a fantastic tour by the lovely Christine. I cannot recommend the Glenkinchie tour more highly, our guide was friendly, enthusiastic, funny, knowledgeable and incredibly welcoming. The distillery is a beautiful historic building, and of course the whisky was delicious. We drove but were so impressed to be told that there is a shuttle bus service to and... More

This was a great experience with a very clear explanation of the working of the distillery both old and modern concisely and delivered with good humour. The tasting at the end wasn't too shabby either. Good value.

The tour was conducted in German as requested and with so much humour that the clients had a marvellous time. They enjoyed the well presented information and at the end of the tour of course the tasting. The 12-year old Glenkinchie was fine but the Special Edition tasted even better. If you wanted to try a peated Malt Lagavulin was... More

The tour of The Glenkinchie Distillery was made extremely interesting by the guide who gave us the tour. He described the complete process of how Glenkinchie is made as he accompanied us through the distillery. At the end of the tour one was able to sample the whisky. The Glenkinchie Distillery is well worth a visit.

I have had the good fortune to visit many whisky distilleries as have my friends "The Dubai Dave's" who visited Glenkinchie with me last Saturday. After many visits to other distilleries which on the whole have also been excellent we expected a good tour but didn't expect to learn anything new. That couldn't be further from the truth, our host... More

This was a great tour and introduction to whisky. The tour itself was short, concise but very informative. There was ample time to try the different whiskies and the guide was very knowledgeable. I learnt a lot from the tour and would recommend it.

Glenkinchie operates Monday to Friday, so the advantage of a weekend tour is that it is quieter (and much cooler!!) to do a tour at the weekend. Very informative, good selection for tasting and a very well stocked shop at the end of the tour. Would definitely be happy to come again.

A nice tour of the distillery, lots of information about the distilling process, all presented in a way that a non whiskey drinker like my wife could still enjoy and have fun. Keith our tour guide was excellent.
