About
You have two routes to choose from, Hudson Bay Mountain or Babine Mountains. Both flights will give you a birds eye view of the Bulkley Valley and the town of Smithers. The Hudson Bay Mountain tour will give you a close up look at the two glaciers on teh northeast slope. We will pass by the summit and ski area. Most of the time we are lucky enough to spot mountain goats on the slop and moose in t

We did the Three Lakes Tour with Alpine Lakes Air and the experience was nothing short of spectacular. Booking was very efficient and communication in advance of the trip perfect. Once on board with our pilot Jamie we could not have been made to feel more welcome (and safe), especially our 8-year old. The 3 Lakes Tour was a perfect introduction to the remoteness of BC and the three lakes we landed on were all gorgeous. The tour took twice as long as advertised and at no point did we feel in any way rushed. I can’t recommend Alpine Lakes Air enough. Amazing!

We signed up for The 3 Lakes Tour. Lucky the weather for our selected day was perfect. Wendel our pilot was very professional and knowledgeable. The experience was breathtaking and truly worth the cost.

Great service. Wendel was my pilot on 2 trips & a lady on the last. All were great. They made sure all was safe & offered great views.

I've flown with Alpine Lakes Air a number of times over the last decade, both on short local tours out of Telkwa and in northern BC out of Tatogga Lake. The north of BC is a vast and inaccessible, and no better way to see it than from the air and access its lakes, rivers and mountains than by float plane. Wendel, Clay, and Bryan all have decades' of experience flying in the north and know the landscape, rivers, and mountains better than anyone. I've always felt safe with their judgment in tight situations and well taken care of in regards to pick up times and logistics. Their dispatch staff has always been available, as well, tracking each flight and handling sat phones calls to manage our pickups. Wendel is also a mechanic and services the planes himself each winter and throughout the summer to ensure everything is running smoothly. Even after arriving late for a pick up at Mowdade Lake in Edziza, worried that we'd have to spend a cold night with few supplies, Clay stayed longer to ensure we made it home that night.

We chartered to fly from Tatogga Lake resort to Buckley lake and back from Mowdade lake this fall. We arrived and the weather was very iffy. We trusted the pilot and he flew us in. Coming back out after our 75K hike was much harder. The ceiling was maybe 200' - with no holes. Clay flew around for 1/2 hour before returning to base. Fortunately he tried a bit latter after a hole opened. We were soooooo glad to see him. Our food was gone and the prospect of another night in a wet tent was not appealing. Thank you Apline Lakes Air for helping our dream trip come true.
