Great day out. Greg was a great host. He setup my rod/line I got for Christmas. Covid precautions were great. Would highly recommend fishing here.

Very friendly stopping point if doing SDW. Simple but in the right place. Toilets and self service drinks.

Turned up soaking wet after a long walk in the driving rain. Made to feel very welcome. Everyone was very warm. Would highly recommend.

Still a really good days fishing. Great staff who go out of their way to make your day special. Need to go back next year as I have a credit . The fishery give you a credit for any fish not caught on the ticket you paid for. Really good customer service. Even got a email the following day thanking me for fishing at Meon Springs .

We booked a fly fishing experience day for beginners. The weather, for September, was excellent which helps of course but from start to finish this was a great day. A little off the beaten track but good brown tourist signs to get you there. Its free tea/coffee all day long with an honesty book for any other food or drink that you take in the cafe area. Tuition was spot on for a group of three total beginners and very soon all of us were fishing quite nicely. The experience day promises that you can keep two fish so both my son and myself were delighted to fill our quota. Pace of the day was excellent where you could take a break whenever you wanted. Rainbow trout are great fish to catch. Here you have to put back the brown trout, luckily I did not hook into one of those. I would throughly recommend this to anyone that's looking to get into fly fishing.
